SOOOO IMPRESSED! I am really picky about pictures and tend to be self conscious, so I was hesitant…read moreespecially about taking maternity pictures, but I knew I'd regret not doing them. I found Jordyn from Yelp reviews and immediately knew I was in good hands! She's not only professional, but personable, fun and just a genuinely kind person. We had a lot of fun taking our pictures, and she got the sneak peek back to us SO quickly! Even her unedited pictures that she had me select from the gallery were absolutely fantastic! Despite being 36 weeks pregnant, being swollen and all the fun that goes along with pregnancy, she made me look and feel absolutely beautiful!!!

Terrible. We hired Jordyn for our son's bar mitzvah. She took more than 700 pictures and they…read morewere mostly of people's backs. We were in the woods in a beautiful setting which was not at all captured by the photos. She later said that it wasn't her job to get people to pose for pictures. So, we really don't have good photos of our guests. We really struggled to find 50 good photos for the album that we paid for. Once we begrudgingly figured that out, it took a really long time for her to produce the album. When she did, there was a major typo right on the front title page. When I asked her what intended to do about this, she simply emailed me the contract saying that fixing typos was our responsibility. After emailing her again, she said she would fix it, but for another $300. Terrible.

Danielle is a fantastic photographer that wildly exceeded my hopes. I found her photography on instagram and we were inspired to elope in Sedona because of those photos. Here are some reasons that I recommend her. 1. Danielle is so talented. The quality of the photos both before and after editing are a testament to her artistry and skill. She did such a good job that the photos on the tiny camera screen looked amazing before editing. I found her editing style to be my favorite of the photographers we looked at. She perfectly captures the vibrancy of Sedona as a backdrop for the special moments. 2. She captured authentic moments! I've had very posed family photos before, and while I enjoy being directed as an awkward person, sometimes it looks robotic in photos. Danielle directed us the perfect amount to get some beautiful moments. 3. Danielle's intimate knowledge of Sedona as a local proved to be an invaluable asset throughout the entire process. I would trust her to recommend any location and for our next session (we're thinking 5 year anniversary) we'll take her lead on location to avoid crowds. I highly recommend her over "adventure" elopement photographers for this local knowledge. 4. Danielle is professional and quick to communicate! She was so quick to respond, even when she was on maternity leave and I was happy to wait as long as she needed. We had to do the unthinkable and cancel our original date because we both caught covid a few days before. Danielle was so responsive and kind to reschedule. 5. In an industry where costs can often escalate, Danielle's reasonable pricing made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Her prices are more than fair considering the quantity of amazing photos we received so quickly! Danielle's passion for Sedona shines through in her work, and her ability to harness the unique charm of the surroundings made our elopement experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a photographer who not only captures love but also encapsulates the spirit of Sedona in every frame, Danielle is the perfect choice. We are forever grateful for her expertise and dedication to making our special day a visual masterpiece.

I don't think this review box has enough space for all of the great things I'd like to say about…read moreour experience working with Bon but I'll try! We chose her to document our wedding in April 2026 and the process from first email to wedding day was so smooth. She heard our vision she followed all requests we had and she delivered x10! Meeting her in person was even better. She is the sweetest and her fun personality truly helped us just relax during our photos which in the end produced some beautiful natural shots! who you choose to work with during your wedding is so important because you're spending so much time with these people and we couldn't have spent 2 more days with Bon if we needed to! ;) shes an amazing person and we were so happy with the finished product, it was all the things we asked for AND MORE. If you've come across her In search of someone there's no need to keep looking. Thank you Bon for beautifully documenting our special day. -Yvonne & Mark Villalta

Bon reached out to me for a review. I was fair & honest stating I loved the end product of our…read morepictures but the customer service wasn't the best. Instead of looking at my review as feedback, she took offense, removed all of our photos online & blocked me. She then used Yelp as an opportunity to place blame on the client. There were moments where she seemed to be projecting her anxiety onto us which made it hard to take in the moment. She delivered images with random objects and people in the background which is pretty consistent with another brides review. If you're a couple who values the experience and or someone who values a Photographer with attention to detail keep this in mind. To address the comments made by the Business Owner, we were on time, we did not bring a crate for our dog as we made it clear that we wanted our dog in the photos. I did request to have a few shots taken on my personal camera but there was never a conversation about this accommodation being in lieu of detail shots. I made my bouquet from scratch and she opted not to use them in the photos because it didn't fit her "moody" aesthetic. Most of her attentiveness went to the groom. As another bride mentioned in her review, most Wedding Photographers understand the bride's experience is the priority and it seemed like most of her focus surrounded on doing what she pleased. Miscommunication could have been avoided if she were open to accepting consultations for "Elopements," but as she mentioned, she reserves consults for traditional weddings. In handing my camera over to her team, they misplaced my SD card so to accommodate the mishap her team was kind enough to hike the trail to relocate it. Unfortunately the SD card was never found but it was no big deal. I did describe my experience with the Officiant over at Earth Elopements as perfect but this was related to our ceremony & our positive experience working with Miss Patricia. Patricia helped plan our day & mentioned she knew of a few photographers which is how we found Bon. I'd like to take the time to acknowledge that her assistant Beacon did take the time to share some cool tricks with me & walked me through some hacks related to camera settings. Beacon even took the time to craft a fun video for us to post after the shoot which was a saving grace for the experience. Seperately, Bon did share some helpful tips with me regarding posing but that doesn't take away from my general experience of feeling lack of care for the customer. I felt ignored/disregarded as the bride which shown through as she couldn't remember my name despite me correcting her numerous times throughout the experience.

What a horrible experience! I wish I would have read these reviews beforehand. I completely agree,…read moreinitially friendly and then the nightmare started. Totally unprepared with mis matched seating, boxes and a directors chair. We were promised our completed photos in time for the holiday. We were sent the proofs in an email stating "just look at the people we can fix the surroundings". Went in to hopefully view and order a worked photo and then the horrendous price gouging start. For every click of the mouse! The pictures were still horrible! I said I would discuss it with my family and get back to them. The 2 days later I said we weren't interested and was told the work was completed, on the way to the printer and my credit card would be charged! THEN a week later I was sent an email stating they couldn't proceed without consent! When I spoke directly the "friendly" couples true colors came out! I was stuck! Not only was I charged over $600.00 for the sitting, 1 8x10 and a canvas (which I could have ordered off Shutterfly for less than $100) I received these 2 items 2 months later and a month past the holiday, and that was only after multiple phone calls and emails that were not returned! Thankfully my family members picked up on the unprofessional prints and attitude and found another photographer who not only was half the price, but had all our photos done and even our Christmas cards made to send out before Christmas! Praise God there are still some good, honest people. Not A portrait by J!

Be very careful in scheduling; despite planning this more than a month in advance and providing exact Google coordinates to our location, explaining it was in the middle of the Prescott National Forest. I provided these coordinates 10/4 for our session on 11/26. They not only changed our time from 2pm to 3pm, (I found out in the voicemail to confirm the day before), but showed up about 20 minutes late because they could not find us. They claim it is a campsite; it is not. It is an established road with other residences along the same road. As they say, people who are 30-year residents of Prescott should have no issue navigating the aforementioned roads. Be sure you are on the same page with fees and products as well because I clarified pricing on the phone during booking, yet was shocked when told after taking our photos that the fee paid provides no actual product. That would be another $425 for copyright photos on a CD. As we are not a business and will not profit off of these photos, we just want them for a holiday card and to hang on our own wall, I asked about personal use and why we would not get the digitals from the shoot. They maintain that there is no difference with copyright and personal use. I called to discuss all of this and come to some agreement with Terry Lynn, who went from condescending to downright nasty. What really set her off was me eventually stating that this was like a bait and switch situation. My father, involved in the photos, then tried emailing Jay and got a snarky reply. Both are also admitting to incorrectly charging us for the session due to the number of people involved and insinuating I misled them with the quantity, despite the detailed notes I gave them in planning this (which included the number of humans and dogs - I was very up front). Somehow, since they made a mistake and did not charge a full reunion fee, just a family session fee, we should be thankful for that even though our session was cut short and we got no photos from it. Their behavior did not sit well with me and I filed a consumer affairs complaint. Given the limited character field, I gave a high-level summary of the issues and noted to see attached supporting documentation. That supporting documentation included the notes I wrote while scheduling the session, the notes I wrote immediately after hanging up the phone with Terry Lynn, the email my father sent, and the response from Jay. In response to my complaint, they essentially just attack my character and mental capacity, try to call our location a campsite, blame me for giving bad directions (as if they did not have weeks to look at Google Maps and call me with any questions), and lied that I called multiple times, calling me "unhinged." I called them once. I believe it required a call-back to be able to chat, so perhaps a call log will show more than 1 call, but I called and had ONE conversation with Terry Lynn, who got so angry with me pointing out the misleading information that she hung up the phone.... but I am the one who is unhinged. The last bit of their reply to the complaint outlines the discount we got for our photography session, which details all of the errors they made in initially charging me. The only thing I will agree with on his math is that they did not charge me for the extra subgroups we did. I assumed this was just good customer service and a nice thing to do considering they were 20 minutes late and my father and FIL even helped them clean up to their next appointment on time. These additional subgroups were like these 2 people walk into the pose now, or these 2 people leave - it was not 8 unique setups in 8 different locations on-site. We had 2 locations and rotated a few people in or out.

Throughout our engagement she was always happy, smiling and laughing, with that infectious laugh of hers, keeping us excited. Not only did she have tons of wonderful encouragement for us, but she brought out a side of us in our engagement pictures that no one else had been able to do. Not only did we use her for our engagements, but also for our ceremony, reception, new puppy pictures, pictures of me in my mother's wedding dress, etc. Everyone at our wedding loved her, and if they didn't have a smile on their faces before they met her, they certainly did after being honored with her presence. If you need a good reason to hire her, just watch our wedding video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kp3edozTaQA. Even now, a year later into an amazing marriage with an incredible man, I weeped like a baby for the last 12 minutes over this video. Without Trisha, our wedding definitely wouldn't have been the same. She took the time to get to know us, was more of a friend than just a wedding photographer, and gave us the most incredible memories anyone could ask for. Don't let her get away.
