Jay made sure to keep the lines of communication open and wanted to be sure we were on the same page, especially since much of the project was without us being home. The wind picked up, causing a delay in the actual painting, but he made sure we were aware of the modified timeline. After the first day of prep, more of our fascia board in the backyard had some rot, so we agreed to amend the quote to include fixing the issue. Jay made some great suggestions on colors, which we took and are glad that we did. There was some phone tag near the end of the job, but we were able to get most touch ups and issues fixed with little incident. Upon further reflection of the scope of the project, we have notice that the new fascia board doesn't appear to have the same quality of preparation that the rest of the house did since it was added after initial prep. Overall, we love the look of the house. They did a great job transforming the facade of our home. **Update 11/29/18- Jay and his guys came out and fixed the fascia board and repainted. Then he replaced them with blank pulls, with no locking ability. Such poor planning and decision making. Imagine using the restroom, and having no way to lock someone out for privacy. Or originally, needing a key to enter the restroom? He said, no problem, I will change them, again! After being behind schedule, he said it was my fault. Concerns: language/understanding quality/finishing touches basic understanding/clarification of topics rude/mean/threatening late to arrive/early to leave Still not finished, and I had to tell them, you are not allowed back in my home. This is only one example, but there were several. This will go further than a review, as a complaint will be filed. Update: after my review was posted, he quickly threatened me by text! I just can't believe this business. Another reviewer contacted me and stated that Remmi threatened her as well, and had also been unprofessional. He threatened to call my employer and tell them on me. What? He stated he would tell them I was drunk all the time. (I painted the outside of my own home, in 90-95 degree temps, on the roof of a 2-story home, at the same time they painted in air conditioning). I could only imagine Isidro, calling my bosses, stating that an employee had been drunk at home, while painting his home, replacing toilets, and working with his father, preparing to sell the home? This is a clear example of Remmi's unprofessional business tactics. Goofy, I tell you; I could not believe me eyes when he texted me this threat (see photo). I tried to fix this, by reminding them of mistakes, asking them to clean up, solving communication issues, but they continually made mistakes, stated that I loved their work, and I was happy.
