My favorite in recent days is the Beef Fajitas Dinner. You should be able to find my photos of the meal shared here. The Fajita Chimichanga is delicious too. The Enchiladas, beef, chicken, and cheese are very tasty. I'm telling you, these folks know how to do it right ... every time!! The young lady that waits on me every time is so nice. I don't know how to explain them except for they tasted homemade like a blend between corn and flour and they were sprinkled with a seasoning blend. That gave them a nice light taste. The salsa is a traditional Salsa Taquera found in many restaurants and in Mexico itself. Loved it with the warm chips. My drink, chips and salsa was refilled before the meal was brought which so nice. The service was excellent here. My meal arrived, and it was phenomenally presented on the plate. The cheese enchilada was rolled very tight and small. It was packed with cheese and flavor. It was melted through and I could taste a little bit of onion which I requested on the side. Right next to it was the pork tamale which was filled to the brim with meat and then had a spicy green chili sauce over the top (you had an option to get the red sauce, which was the red chili sauce), which was similar to the taco meat that was in my beef taco next to it, which was extremely crunchy just the way I like my tacos! The decor is bright and colorful, but it is a very small dining area with a small bar. They had quite a bit of cocktail mixed drink, and beer offerings. I opted for a iced tea with lemon.. I ordered the sample platter so I was able to get a taste of a few different items. It arrived very shortly after it was ordered. I did include a picture when it was first put in front. It seemed very appetizing, but unfortunately, at least for my taste the chicken taco I ordered was a hard shell and ample filled with ingredients, but the chicken was canned and had that metallic canned taste.. The second item was the cheese enchilada and I ordered the green sauce. The green sauce was very flavorful salted just right and had a nice kick to it. But the cheese inside the enchilada was not melted so unfortunately, every bite the cheese was laying inside there just as it was placed and not melted together. The pork tamale that came with the sample plate was very small in size it did have ample filling in it, but it was extremely heavily seasoned. Definitely had that Tex-Mex flavor to it on a scale of one to 10 I would rate it probably 3 1/2. The reason for that is just it was a very overwhelming seasoning taste. You couldn't really taste the MASA or the filling individually. The beans were ranchero style with whole beans and some other spices. Very similar though to what you would get out of a can. They did not have refried beans that I was aware of. The rice was light and flavorful.. overall I would definitely say I would not have chicken from the can at this restaurant unless that something that you enjoy. The chips and salsa were actually very good. The chips were corn and crunchy and had lots of nooks and crannies so to hold your sauce. The salsa had lots of garlic in it and a nice not overly salted seasoning definitely one of the bright spots of this lunch. The service was outstanding. And there is a very good size menu, including some American food offerings which should lend me to come back and try the spot again maybe something different would strike a cord with me. But for now, I'm gonna leave this at a three star rating.. one word of warning they do have a 3 1/2% convenience fee for using a credit card. If you show up with cash then maybe the 3 1/2% won't be a surprise for you. I was unaware and it did add quite a bit to the Bill. they do offer a 10% discount for military.
