Ok I only went for the Chili Rellanos. Ordered them she came back at said we are out. I told her that is the only reason I went there to eat. She apologized. Now mind you we went at 5:30 pm tonight Sunday and Father's Day. She brought me a menu and asked if I would like to find something else . She also said straight out she would do a full refund of our check for $36. My son said mom what ever you want to do. I ordered the chicken & steak fajitas . He had Bistek Mexicana ? I believe . 100/100 taste !! We actually decided to get it to go because it was very hot in there. But stuff happens it is hot every where right now. Looked up food places to eat in Wichita Falls. Wife wanted mexican food. Upon entry there were few cars in the parking lot. That should have been a sign on a Saturday afternoon. We go in seat ourselves. Waitress brings us menus and asks us what to drink. We get sweet tea. Tea is good but very little ice. Chips were stale. Salsa was spicy and decent. We both ordered the fajitas. I went with chicken. The wife went with steak, chicken and shrimp. The is no queso dip here. When our order came there was chicken and shrimp and steak and chicken. I told the waitress it was wrong. She took the order back and came back with the same plates five minutes later. She just moved bed the shrimp over to the plate with chicken and steak. Usually when you order fajitas it comes out sizzling. Not here they bring it out on a regular plate. Guacamole is the best thing here. Its really good even on stale chips. There was a fly bitting me so I ate fast. If you are looking for the best mexican food in Wichita Falls, this aint it. Good luck foodies in your search. read more

I ordered Puerto Rican food to go and the orders was perfect. My pork chop was juicy, my shrimp were yummy. I went on Monday and ordered a pork chop and it was so deep fried that it had no moisture. I have never really had big issues at the Restruant , I told the server my issue and she did nothing to correct it. So in my pork chop was so fried. It was more like beef jerky. this restaurant is a great place to try. I just hope the standards stay high. read more

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at La Fagota! Our server was the sweetest, continually checking on us throughout our experience to make sure everything was delicious. The plates were an excellent value. This taco plate with three delicious chicken tacos, rice, and beans was only $10! The salsa was incredibly fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of kick. The chips were likewise fresh and flavorful, crunchy and perfect as vehicles for the salsa. The restaurant itself has a generous seating area, is very bright and well lit, and has pretty fake flower arrangements on each table that add a nice touch of color. The employees all seemed take a lot of pride in the quality here. There was a variety of Puerto Rican options on the menu, which we appreciated though didn't try! Also of note, the restaurant is pretty close to the falls in Witchita Falls if you're driving through as a visitor! Would return on our next road trip! read more

Been wanting to try this place, so glad we did. I hope WF is as excited as I am for some Puerto Rican food because this place will definitely become a regular for us. Interior vibe is casual, reminds me of Florida, lots of teal and pink. Very clean. There are some TV's, which luckily are only by the pickup desk and everything was very kid-friendly. I don't know if they put kid movies on just for us, but I appreciated it. Everyone here is so friendly, food came super fast. They even just brought us a flan to try. Food here is *so* fresh, light, and homemade tasting. My kids ate absolutely everything. The salsa is fantastic. I preferred the super spicy green one but the kids liked the red, which was like a fresh pico style. We tried many items but the favorites included: -cheese flan: this was exceptional because it was not very sweet, loved it. -tembleque: very good, light fluffy texture. Kids devoured this -fried plantains: my absolute favorite. I ate it with the green salsa, and the shredded lettuce/tomatoes and sour cream. -enchiladas: good balance of chicken and cheese. We got the red tomato sauce on the side, which was so flavorful I ate it with everything. -tacos: great, fresh. Daughter loved this, and all the kids literally *fought* over the beans and rice. Only let-down to me was the rice with pigeon peas. It was good for sure, but my step-mother is from Puerto Rico and her mother makes me the most amazing rice I've ever had in my life, it has way more peas and olives and tomatoes. We wish we either lived closer to WF or at least drove through more often. Stopped for lunch on our way home from Colorado. Not a fancy building but the food is AMAZING. AWESOME. INCREDIBLE. Menu is filled with unique items. Special section of Puerto Rican dishes. Tamie got seafood soup, Caldo 7 Mares. Fish, clams, shrimp, mussels and calamari, and more. I had Jibarito de Pernil, a roast pork sandwich with fried plantain instead of bread. Could not pass up in homemade Flan for dessert. One was vanilla and the other was cheese. Tamie doesn't usually even try my flan, but she sure liked it today. Just some of the best food we've had, and the variety was vast and unique. Brenda took very good care of us! A 5 star rating is a little too high, but a 4 star rating is WAY too low. 4.8 is where I'd like to rate this place. The Pernil (slow roasted pork) with a side of Tostones (fried green plantains) was delicious!! The menu is Mexican and Puerto Rican. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. The outside of the building may look a little rough but the inside is cute and clean.
