I stopped in because I was shopping nearby and saw it was an Indian bakery, as well as a cafe. I…read morewas on my way to dinner, but wanted to try a sweet dessert to-go. The two men working the counter were both very friendly and happy to help answer questions. Worth noting - it was Sunday at dinner time and it was very quiet. They have an extensive menu and offer catering, too! I am obsessed with all things butterscotch. As soon as I saw their butterscotch cake slice, it was an easy choice - but the chocolate mocha was a solid option too. Honestly, their cakes all looked amazing: decent sized slices with layers of cake, filling, and what appeared to be a stabilized whipped cream. Turns out I was correct on the whipped cream layer! Oh my gosh, I think this is my new favorite cake in Columbus. It's light and delicious and just sweet enough. Indian desserts can be incredibly sweet, but this cake wasn't. It was honestly perfection. Pretty sure I am going to get one of these cakes for my birthday this year! If the mango cake tastes like this, I can absolutely see why it's a fan favorite. It reminds me of the strawberry cake from a well-liked local Chinese restaurant (iykyk) Can't speak to the savories from the cafe, but I highly recommend the cakes if you're a fan of lightly-sweetened fresh cakes!

The desserts looked amazing! The customer service was clueless at best and nonexistent at worst. I…read moreasked the young guy if I sit to order or order at the counter. He told me to sit. Then he took three orders at the counter and took ten minutes to box up a cake. I walked to the counter and asked if he had Onion Pakoda. He said no. My bill was 28 bucks and he said: You told me Vegetarian Manchurian...Ummm no... And he argued with me. He refunded it. Food was okay but definitely under seasoned. A lot of places have good paneer and Indian food but this is just an exercise in frustration. Perhaps they should stick to cakes or something where they don't have to interact with people as much. Eh, go down to WY Grill next door or Five Guys...Much less hastle.

The desserts all looked amazing. I took a slice of Pistachio cake home. I would like to come back for more. There was a cute cotton candy machine, which I've never heard of. It didn't appear to be working.

I had an underwhelming experience here. None of the baked goods are labeled and when I asked for…read morethe chicken puff and goat puff, the two people at the counter had no idea which ones were which and had to ask another person. For anyone with allergies/restrictions, this is very concerning. Again, I asked one of them what the plum cake was made out of (because I never had one before) and not a single person was able to tell me. I thought that was very odd. The staff requires training in knowing the products being sold and the baked foods need proper labeling, as it will make it easier for the customers to order instead of going around asking what each is. I did receive an answer that the meat used is halal; however, I did question it as even the staff had to ask another person in the back for the answer to this as well. The gulab jamun cake I was excited about, but did not find it to be that great. Overall, I found the place overpriced. The goat puffs are $5 each and the chicken $4 each. The goat ones I found too greasy and had a goat smell to them still. I don't see myself returning with so many other Asian bakeries around.
