As experienced foodies, we've concluded that the baked goods are not made on-site but are most likely purchased wholesale as ready-to-bake frozen pastries, which are then baked at the shop. There wasn't a line, just a few people sitting at the bar. As we stood there waiting, another customer came in after us and sat at the bar. The employee looked up, made eye contact with us, then looked right past us to start talking to the customer who had just arrived behind us. We said we were there for a pickup order twice and were still ignored. My boyfriend finally got the guys attention. He grabbed our order, tossed the receipt and pen onto the counter to sign, then immediately walked away and went back to chatting with the people at the bar.
