It's hard for me to leave a review about the donuts since I didn't get to try one. It was a bummer but I'm glad to see they are taking time off for family! Hope to try their donuts sometime soon.

Yep 5 stars, and it would be 6 or 106 if there were that many stars. The donuts are tasty, there are lots of different choices, and they are FRESH! Cooked right there. Be early, if I'm in town they will run out pretty quick. Aside from all the innovative pastry treats (there really should be a warning sign for diabetics like myself!) the coffee is good and comes in simple cups of wonderful the black stimulant to the more complicated cafe offerings that include choices ranging from lattes to espressos to cappuccinos. Another highlight is the staff. Ok, so this isn't the San Francisco financial district. No indeed; here the staff is actually friendly and the service is great. And if you smile (and you will at the first bite) you'll hear their story. The owner, who has lived in a variety of big time venues knows what their doing. I am a veteran of Silicon Valley and have spent much of my 60+ years chasing an idea and have sought extra energy through coffee to meet the inherent stresses of that life. Here you can relax have a pastry and listen to music trapped in a 30 year time warp. Congratulations on your store and God bless the Midwest and Uncle Donuts!

Their apple fritters are to die for!

The donuts are okay. My husband likes the Apple fritters with the pieces of apple. Service was good and friendly.

Ope! Can you have a fun adventure exploring a different city day without going far? You betcha!…read more Embracing my Swedish/ Norwegian side checking out the lovely town ofLindström today. Well known as the town with the teapot water tower just north of Forest Lake. Along with a tasty lunch in Chisago. Places and things we checked out included lots of cute local shops and of course some sweet treats! @thelindstrombakery was worth the trip on its own We tried a variety of things and got some take home goodies. Swedish Almond Cookies (so. darn. good. Had to get some for later) ALL of their donuts were so fresh and light. Highly recommend getting yourself here for treats. Each item we tried was accompanied by slow chewing, serious glances and closed eyes of bliss. Uffdah what a fun day! Hoping everyone can find some Hygge in your days. Hygge (pronounced "hoo-gah") is a Danish cultural concept focusing on comfort, togetherness, and cozy contentment. Key principles include cultivating warmth, enjoying simple pleasures, equality, and mindfulness. It helps reduce stress, improves well-being, and fosters social connection by embracing a slower, more intentional, and cozy lifestyle.

Simple scheme with tables and a smaller store as the rest of the space is used for another shop. Problem: There is very little selection. The bakery used to be lined with shelves, now it is all in the front closed off as the employees have to reach take it out. No rolls or buns, just basic breads and nothing all that creative. There are bags of cookies to go and they have coffee beans with no price marked. Others have mentioned donuts, but I didn't see any. The previous owners had loads of donuts and the signs still says "Scandinavian Donuts". The changes haven't seem to affect business as it was bustling on a Saturday morning. I never saw that many people in the store in years past.

We had the whole space to ourselves, as the café was empty. Everyone was taking their orders to go. It's the best old-fashioned doughnut I've ever had, and my mother-in-law said her apple fritter was delicious. Both of my kids chose the Oreo specialty donuts, and neither of them could finish because they were on the very sweet side. But they had leftovers for after school! I'll be stopping in soon to pick up a dozen to bring to work with me. So glad they are in the neighborhood!

Despite the demand and weekend rush for these donuts, there are always plenty of options for everyone, whether you're a fan of classic, no-frills options or dessert-style, specialty creations. I love that they offer appetizing vegan and gluten-free options! My kids were absolutely over the moon for these treats, and even I--someone who doesn't usually go wild for donuts--couldn't help but appreciate the freshness of the dough and the perfect glaze on the jelly-filled varieties I tried. The jelly hit the sweet-and-tart balance just right, making each bite delightfully satisfying. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of indoor seating if you want to enjoy your donuts on-site. It's the kind of place where you can linger, sip your coffee, and savor each bite without feeling rushed. Uffda Donuts makes it easy to see why they've got a loyal following: quality, care, and a little bit of magic in every donut. Go early, go hungry, and prepare to leave with a smile (and maybe a sugar rush).

I wasn't able to get a pic of the full dozen before my family tucked in, but it was a colorful and wonderful array. For me, the winners were the caramel topped cinnamon roll and the boston creme (they named it bavarian creme filled butI know what I know). The only one that didn't hit with my kids was the strawberry iced with sprinkles, but that was taste preference. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a local fix!
