Jeff was already working in the building and had earned a great reputation with our notoriously picky HOA. He followed every rule to a T--keeping the building spotless, adhering to work hours, and being mindful of shared spaces like elevators and garages. I considered a few other electricians, but they either didn't respond, wouldn't take on certain parts of the job. Jeff stood out for his responsiveness and skill, and know the right folks to get the work done. He assessed my unit the day after I inquired, provided a quote the following day, and started work three days later. Permits? Secured on day one, and city approval came just four days after work began. The project, slated for four weeks, wrapped in 2.5 (even with the holidays in between). All my furniture was covered and he paid special attention to my wood floors as I had asked. His son Danny works with him and was there with him often too and a sweetie, so you always felt like there was someone in charge on call. The wiring upgrade was thorough--new wiring, amps increased, a new circuit box, updated fixtures, 2 hard-wired fire alarms, and 2 extra outlets. Damage to the walls and ceilings was far less than I feared. Although I handled the painting myself to save costs, I couldn't be happier with Jeff's speed and attention to detail. When a spec error cropped up, Jeff had it fixed the next day without hesitation. His professionalism impressed me, and I didn't hear a single complaint from neighbors. In fact, two of them are now planning similar upgrades with him. I also got mostly daily texts or phone calls with updates that I appreciated. This wasn't "fun" money, but it was necessary, and Jeff made it as painless as possible. His expertise, speed, and city-savvy connections are worth every penny. Highly recommend!
