I came in just for a pedicure. I feel it's hard to.find places that will do a spa pedicure for a decent price post covid. I got the lavender pedi and it was amazing. My feet felt awesome afterwards and my tech was super nice. I made an appt but had to wait because this place is busy so keep that in mind. Waiting to get a toe re polished (yay dog owning lol) and it's a bit of a wait so bear that in mind and have some patience but make an appt. I will come back here for my pedicures. I was not happy with the pedicure I received, the first issue was I was told i couldn't use the color I wanted because it would show any imperfections. The woman who gave me the pedicure was very distracted by everything going on in the salon, she was rushing and barely cleaned up my toes. I have neuropathy in my feet and legs, I told her they were very sensitive and to please be gentle, she was not and I kept saying ouch and she'd apologize then go right back to being rough, she missed some dead skin on my toes and I pointed it out, she told me I would bleed if she took it off, she tried on one toe and it did not bleed, but there is still dead skin. When you pay $30 plus tip and you're on a budget, it's very disappointing. I will not return to this salon. read more

I have been going to Julies Nail Salon for a year. I always get treated very well. My husband enjoys a pedicure treatment and he always gets the lavender. I love the lime coconut treatment. The hot stone massage on my legs always make me feel refreshed. My granddaughter loves the pedicure to it makes Her feel like a princess. I have received a manicure and they will massage your hands as well. I have never received a facial but I'm sure that would be amazing! They know how to shape the eyebrows and it doesn't hurt like some places do. I recommend Julie's nail salon. I'm not versed in the type of manicures, but I see a lot of different types just by the foils and gloves that the associates place in the nails. read more

The good news: Friendly people, affordable rates and easy to get an appointment. The bad news: The salon did not seem clean. I am fairly confident several tools they used for me and my daughter came out of a drawer and went right back in for the next client (yuck!). Terrible regular manicures! Maybe they are so focused on gel and acrylics they don't have interest in regular manicure clients. The polish never dried between coats so it was mushy when we left even though we waited for the allotted time in front of the dryers. 5 of my nails were ruined within 30 min of leaving the salon. My husband and I have been visiting Julie's for two years, he likes a standard mani/pedi and I have gel pedi and dipping powder mani. We never ask for a specific tech as in our experience they are all excellent. In the two years we have been going, there has always been the same staff, and it is always a nice atmosphere. Julie is always there herself and treats her staff and customers very well. I use a wheelchair and they all go out of their way to help me get around and make it as easy as possible for me. We both love our visits to Julie's and always leave feeling happy & refreshed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I went here for a Pedi yesterday. New to the area, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. When I first walked in I was nervous bc I only saw 2 pedi chairs, the rest of the chairs were behind a half wall. I got the basic pedi (only $20) my legs and feet were well taken care of and lotioned/massaged perfectly. They included Hot Stones for free ($10 up charge where I used to live) I will be back :) PS....they ask for the tipping in cash bc the owners make them pay a fee off their tips read more

I was in Largo visiting family & broke two of my nails off. I needed help repairing my two nails & getting a gel fill on the others. Julie's nails saw me within 10 minutes of walking through the door! Exceptional service, very professional & clean. The nail tech who put on the gel nail set was very sweet. If you want a nail salon that will screw up an appointment you made 5 days in advance, be told they're running behind (shortly after opening) and you need to wait 30 minutes, this is your place!! They have some great nail techs (Hannah, Van and Nina) but the people they let "schedule" appointments are awful! Julie is very nice but they lack customer service (and have an awful polish selection). read more

I was in the area so I stopped in before going to Publix. The nail polish selection was much less than other salons. The woman who did my pedicure acted like she didn't want to be there. The tub part of the chair was broken and the water kept draining out and she kept putting cold water on my feet. I picked the deluxe pedicure and she barely washed my feet. The hot stone barely lasted 2 minutes. Thank goodness for the paraffin wax. The polish I picked was almost empty and/or needed an extra coat that she did not do. This was probably the worst pedicure I've ever had and to make it worst the woman was totally unfriendly. Nail color selection was pretty small compared to most of the places I've been to. The lady who did my pedicure scrubbed my feet with a rough brush so hard she rubbed the skin raw on one of my toes. The actual polish job is mediocre. Overall not worth the money. This place was chosen solely for the convenience of location, and I will not be returning. read more

I went to the Largo location 2 weeks ago and got a gel mani and gel pedi and it was $65, today i went to the Seminole location and they charged me $85 for the same service, i asked why and Julie said because I got gel, i explained that 2 weeks ago i got the same thing and was only charged $65, she then said it was because i got OPI gel. There arent any signs posted saying that gel is extra let alone that OPI is $22 more. I dont recommend this place at all! read more

I was faithful to this salon for four years and I don't know what happened but after a couple of the really good techs quit, the salon really went downhill in my opinion. The quality of my nails weren't as good and the new techs were rude.. I had the rudest male tech do my nails the very last time I ever went. He told me to never get round shaped acrylics because it would look terrible on me. I never asked for his opinion in the first place. This is the only salon I will go to now to get nails done. Been around trying to find a home since I got a full set on one year ago and this is it! Have had nails on and off for over 40 years and, after my horrible experience at quality nails in clearwater, will never go anyplace but this location and the one in bardmoor. I got acrylic gel nails done here for my sweet 16 a week and a half ago (10 days) and they fell off the day before my party. I went back for them to fix them and they wanted me to pay another $30 for them to be fixed, when they would just fall off again. I'm extremely unsatisfied and will not come back to this nail salon. Only 2 nail techs! If you are there for a fill in or set, you have to wait until one of the only 2 certified nail techs are available, even with an appointment. The rest of the employees can give you a pedi at a moments notice, and, if you are only there for a $15 fill in they will take someone w/ a higher tab than you FIRST, even if you HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! Worst fill ever!! The lady at Booth 7 was so rough with the drill and emery board that she cut my cuticles. The goal at this salon is to get people in and out as fast as possible.
