I've tried other people in the salon before because I can't always get my favorite girl (im always on call with work) so I usually just walk in when I can. I used to rave about J'adore. It truly depends on who you get. Elizabeth worked there and I loved her. She cleaned the shop before and then she started doing nails. She was so gentle- she took her time- and was very intentional. I know the other techs would give her a hard time bc she took her time with her clients versus every other tech in there that moves so fast and are not personable. The positive thing about my experience today was we walked in and we were seated right away for a pedicure. Which was unexpected- especially on a Saturday. So sat down... and not sure if the guys name- he did wear glasses ... I should have asked honestly.... That's my bad. But I sat down... and he turned the water on... didn't check the temp with his hand or anything just turned the knob. I started to put my feet in.. and I'm like it's H O T. So then he turns the knob... it finally gets to a comfortable temp. So then I soak my feet... he then proceeded into your norm pedi.. pushing back cuticles and getting out any dead skin. I was doing fine.. until he went to the little hook part... he went in soooo deep. I was flinching and all the things... I was keeping my composure though bc I am not a confrontational person. So right foot was HELL. lol left foot a little better. But I know he wiped my toes multiple times bc of blood. Nippers... dude took fresh skin. And he was moving sooooo fast. I'm like get me out of here. I had already committed though and I was with my friend. I couldn't even focus on picking my color bc I was in pain while he was digging and nipping. When my right foot hit the water it burned so much bc of the open skin. I know.. I know.. I should've spoke up.. but like I said.. not a fan of making a scene. So.. then we go to the cheese grater to get dead skin off. He was moving so fast.. he got my skin on my left ankle.. so there I was bleeding on my leg.. after all that I was just relieved to get to the massage and hot towels.. no risk of bleeding there lol. He did fine with painting my nails. They look good. BUT MAN. I can't believe he grated a piece of my ankle off.... So needless to say I will not be going back. Which is unfortunate bc I loved going there. It's really nice on the inside and I like the products they use. But man... not personable and they move too fast which in turn is poor quality and customers are paying 60+ dollars at least... plus tips.. so just be mindful . read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. It was a last minute decision to come here for a mani/pedi prior to leaving for a cruise. It was a busy Saturday afternoon when I walked in (without an appointment) asking for full service. I don't think I even waited 10 minutes!!! I paid extra to have my pedicure in the VIP room. It's optional & pricey but worth it if you want relaxation & quiet. The bench style seating in the VIP room almost changed my mind but I was happy to learn they had a massage feature built-in, side tables for my complementary wine, and a place I could plug my phone in if I needed to. I mean really top notch! I got a coffee pedicure and it really exfoliated nicely. The tech did overheat my oil just a tad...it felt REALLY HOT when she put it on my leg. I'd still go again, so hardly even worth mentioning. What IS worth mentioning is that my dipped nails lasted FIVE WEEKS!! Yes, you read that correctly, 5 whole weeks before I needed my nails done again. This is insane! I'm very happy with my visit & this location is super close to my office so I definitely plan to make my way thru their extensive pedicure menu! The service has declined tremendously. They do not care about pleasing the customer. It is what they want. My daughter was treated horribly. This was for her wedding. She not only cried but she was hurt that she was treated so badly. No on deserves it. It's a pattern now. Just turn the appt around for a buck. They certainly don't care about repeat business. Think twice before you go. It's poorly managed. I dont even think they deserve one star but I have to select. read more

Customer for 3 years, but yesterday I had the worst pedicure I've ever had. First she sat me at my chair, put just 2 inches of water in the tub then left me to paint someone else's nails. When she came back, she started by doing my toenails first. Then for the rest of the pedicure my newly painted nails sat in hot water for 40 minutes. (Over time, hot water dulls gel polish, and so she started the dulling process off before I even left the store. ) She dropped open products on the floor, picked them up and continued using them on me. She used lotion on one of my legs and forgot to use the other before putting my feet in the wax treatment bags. When I reminded her, she spent about 20 seconds putting lotion on my other leg. Even worse, her "massage" was up/down/up/down/up/down, same repetitive motion with each application of lotion or sugar scrub, etc, to the point that I couldn't take it anymore and just told her to stop, that I was done with the pedicure and leaving. Before I left, I asked her if she was going to do the second coat of color, as she had only done one coat, and I've never ever had anyone do one coat before. She then decided to argue with me, and tell me that she "always puts two coats on". That may be true, but I watched everything she did, and she did one clear coat for the base, one color coat, then one top coat. I know what I saw. Worst of all, this was supposed to be "a treat" for myself, and I ended up paying $80 for this horrible experience. The man in charge for the day took the gel polish cost off my bill - gee thanks. This nail stylist does not know what she is doing, and it made for a terrible experience at a place where I had become a loyal customer. read more

I have done Shellac from its invention in 2010, and it was the first time in my life when it did not stay perfect even 2 weeks! It is terrible! I am really disappointed with this place and won't ever return there. Also, the staff is kind of annoying trying to sell you more than you want. I do not recommend this place. read more

Came here while in town for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. Saw that they did the dip powder and requested that service. Kim was my tech and was nice at first but as soon as I asked her to fix the thickness and the glitter pieces that were mixed in with the clear dip she gave me attitude. She also drilled my nails down and this seemed odd to me as I thought dip powder was to be better and healthier for your nails. After doing some research it's true it's healthier BECAUSE IT DOESNT REQUIRE NAILS TO BE DRILLED DOWN. So after her attitude I had nothing else to say and didn't bother with her with anymore requests even though my nails looked bulky, uneven and had specks of purple glitter in them! I called them after leaving, told them about Kim's rudeness, lack of detail and poor customer service. The receptionist was nice and told me to come back for their best nail tech Wen to redo them. This was acceptable and Wen was sweet, listened to what I wanted and had to remove and reapply the dip. The only thing is that she drilled down my nails again...and I didn't think that was necessary, but didn't say anything as (again) didn't realize my nails didn't need to be drilled down. So Now my nails are thin and sensitive, the dip powder has cracked because the nail underneath is too thin to support it and this crappy/ great experience at Jadore cost me $45. Yes I tipped Kim a little because everyone needs to make a living. But hopefully she reads this post and starts to be nicer to clients no matter what is requested. read more

Been going to angela for a while and service just gets worse and worse they offer some ppl drinks some not I'm always skipped then the dip I got last few times was just horrible nails all diff lengths not even shape sucked I redid it when I got home and the fresh dip looks like I had my nails done for a week like I need a full that's how she painted it. Just horrible and got charged 60$ for the service. On top I always schedule appointments because I am always on a tight schedule I arrive and have to wait for her for 20 minutes before she sits down and starts working on me. I gave it a few chances now I'm done. Client service worsens when your a regular customers they only try hard on new customers what I noticed so I'm just over that salon. I go to check out it was FIVE dollars more to take a sponge buffer over my nails. I said if I would of known that I could of got free clear polish instead. She looked at me in shock. I am now a regular at J'adore Nail Bar for my nails and pedicures which I also taste a 5 Star! However, today I was there for a facial, an enzyme facial. Let me just begin by saying the last time I had a facial I went to , which it was nice but Doesn't even come close to comparing the facial I had today. I was so relaxed from head to toe. Wen is AMAZING to say the least! This is by far the BEST facial sevices I have ever received. $ well spent! Every minute that you pay for is 100% worth the $. I have been a loyal customer of this salon for years. Although the staff changes frequently (just when you find one you really like) and the prices increased, I stuck it out. I made an appointment for a fill because I didn't want to have to wait around as a walk-in due to an obligation later in the day. I called first thing in the morning when they opened, requested a particular staff member and ensured they were available at my requested time. I was assured that she was. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment to be told that she was finishing up with another customer. All good, I am a few minutes early anyways. 25 minutes later and having been told now 3 times that she would be done any minute, I am told she is doing nail art on a customer who did not have an appointment and would be a bit longer. When I inquired about having an appointment, they really did not seem to care. Just tried to pawn me off on another staff member. I decided that this experience was my last straw with this salon. The turnover of staff, the lack of care or concern for anyone's time and the increased pricing (nickeling and diming for everything) is just not worth it. I found a new location who took me right away, even though they were very busy. They did a great job and were less expensive. You don't always get what you pay for. My time is worth something and this salon doesn't care. read more

Overpriced and not good quality of work. It's been 6 days and my dip nails are already chipping. The nail tech who was also the manager destroyed my cuticles and did so AFTER the dip was done creating an already noticeable gap between nail and beginning of the dip. He also missed almost every edge of each nail with the dip by not painting the entire nail (as you can see in the pictures). Charged $15 for a "manicure" which only consisted of cutting my cuticles so badly and also bled. Then had an issue at the end with the pedicure tech who said I pointed to the $50+ pedicure when I infact showed her the "menu" and pointed to a different one. Completely over priced for awful work. I stopped in to this location for the first time, and was blown away not only by how clean it was, but how beautifully decorated it was, and how incredibly nice the staff was. Everything was exceptionally clean, they used liners in all of their pedicure tub's, and I saw team members cleaning the entire time.They assisted me right away, and I sat down in a pedicure chair with Maria. Maria was amazing asked me all sorts of questions about my preferences and then also got to know me almost like a friend. It was one of the most thorough pedicures and manicures I've had in a very long time. I would highly recommend this location and even more so recommend Maria! I will definitely be back. read more

This is the first time visiting this place. My wife and I were looking for something new and not too far from home. We decided to try out, based on the reviews and pictures and I'm glad we did! They close at 7:30pm and we showed up there at 6:15pm as walk-in. We were welcomed immediately. Less than 5mins after we were already taken to the back to start our pedicure. They offered us complementary drinks, including wine. Seats have a massage pad you can set to your preference. All ladies there were very friendly and enjoyable talk with. I think Connie went above and beyond with me. I went there for a simple mani-pedi but changed my mind on last minute and asked her for acrylic nails. I had my natural nails. She suggested me gel nails, for my nails not to suffer the damages of acrylic. She could've easily just do acrylic since it takes less time and they were about to close but instead, she took her time to do my gel nails and to try to match the color she already did on my feet. She could've messed up since we were last minute walk-in but I love the color she helped me pick, the length and the shape she gave them and all in no hurry. Recently everytime I have gone in the last year which has been about 3/4 times I have been disappointed each time. I kept telling myself it was just a bad day or bad tech but I won't be coming back. My nails are mediocre at best, they are never the same size or shape. They never look good for a full set to be $70 I expect them to look nice. It's insanely expensive for what you are receiving.
