I looked a ton of videos during the interview process and I was not impressed by anyone's work except for Epic Studios. I was tearing up in the videos and I didn't even know these people. As soon as I spoke to Victor I knew that he was the videographer for us. Day of: I live in LA so Victor and I never met in person until the day of the wedding. He came in my room with his crew and introduced himself. My first impression was that he was genuine. That is one thing that I look for in people especially people that I hired for my wedding. He had 3 people in his crew (including himself). I also hired a photographer who had an assistant. You would think 5 people documenting your wedding is overwhelming and feels like a reality show. To be honest, Epic Studios was amazing and I didn't even notice that they were there. That is how it should feel in order to get your natural self :) Video Teaser: I just received my video teaser and am in LOVE. It made our family and friends tear up. I spent a lot of time looking at various photographers websites and more importantly their portfolios. I found a lot of sites with work that was good but I was looking for that one that had that spark! I found Capture the Moment less than 24 hours before my party. When I saw the portfolio of work on his website and facebook page, I knew this was the company I wanted to photograph my party. They were quick to reply to my email and were very great at discussing pricing and understanding my needs for the event. I was really lucky that they had the night of my party available. They drove an hour and 20 minutes to my location. We had agreed that there would be coverage for four hours. My guests kept commenting all night on the amount of pictures being taken. I was pleasantly surprised to learn later that 633 beautiful pictures were taken in that four hour time. That alone was amazing! Almost all of the other photogs that I spoke with in my search prior to the party, were never going to shoot that many. When my pictures were ready, I drove out to Capture the Moment and sat with them. For my initial viewing, Behrooz had all of the pictures put into segements from the party. He had the pictures set to music and they played across a very large projection screen. The presentation was almost as impressive as the actual photos. The skills of the two photographers are far and beyond what I could have dreamed of. Their are some in there that are very artistic and unique. Plus the facility operator was excellent with helping on setups and ideas. The lighting was perfect. My only hiccup was how damn hot it gets in there!!! lol gotta keep those fans blow full swing to counter that heat.. other than that it's pretty perfect. You can fit about two cars in there comfortably nothin more. There seating, water and a mini fridge on hand in case they're needed. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for good rates and help on filming location with complete studio setups available. Definitely a must rent.
