Moses in the window sign

We visited Grand Lake in March 2023 and instantly loved visiting Jumpstart Coffee. The coffee is wonderful and so was the owner/staff. Every day we came in and were greeted with a smile and a desire to make your day better. Inside, there are a handful of places to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with a delicious pastry. There are several unique gifts, clever signs, stained glass artwork you can enjoy reading and purchase if you'd like. Moses definitely recommends Jumpstart Coffee & Tea and will visiting again and again.

Good service and excellent coffee. The chocolate croissant was outstanding! Several chairs outside to enjoy the views.

Looks like a great coffee shop, but Yelp led me to believe it serves BREAKFAST. I parked, walked, got there, and NO BREAKFAST.

Solid service. Good coffee. Average apple and cherry turnovers. After our dreadful experience next door, it was a welcome change.

Next door to them is a fun little snack shop called Miyauchi's Snack Bar. This walk-up food stand was exactly what I was in the mood for. I wanted something affordable, quick and delicious. They had a line forming when I arrived because it was lunch time. Miyauchi's Snack Bar is mostly known for their homemade ice cream. But they also serve burgers, sandwiches and sides. I haven't had a patty melt in years and ordered one with onion rings. Most of the employees here are young folks and they were really nice. For seating, Miyauchi's has outdoor picnic tables that are available on a first-come first-served basis. I got lucky and was able to grab a table as someone was leaving. It was a warm day, so I had to get ice cream after finishing my meal. Miyauchi's Snack Bar has a variety of flavors to choose from. Being the coffee fanatic that I am, I ordered a cup of Kahlua-N-Cream. This place was great and capped off my fun-filled day at Grand Lake.

I will definitely be coming back and I hope you'll give it a try.

The Owner and his family made us feel welcomed and appreciated, we truly had a wonderful time talking with everyone in there! The perfect place to stop and enjoy your evening! The owner Phillip was drinking a Guinness at the bar when we arrived with his back to the door. No welcome. Just told us to sit anywhere. Turns out the whole family works there. Met the daughter Grace while perusing the menu. Not a lot of options but we tried the chicken wings with pints of Outlaw lager beer. Both were fairly tasty. Looking around at the tiny place made me think of a cozy little British pub. The tunes playing in the background were pleasant. The owner told us his story about buying the business and how his family worked there. Saturday afternoon had only three family members as the wife was out. As sweet as his daughter was, she was far too talkative to patrons and fairly ignored the two groups of people who came inside and sat down. Her dad was in the back washing dishes and we still waited 10 minutes to order our main dish. The other patrons even got up to look in back to see if anyone was working there because they were ignored. About ten minutes later the owner came around the corner but Daughter was still gossiping outside. He scurried around. We split the fish and chips between the two of us as well as the salad. I was not impressed with the food. The small pieces of battered fish were decent but the overcooked fries and the salad were NOT good. I was bummed. It's like they realize the fish portions are small and they overcompensate with too many fries. I really wanted to like the place. The salad dressing came in store bought packets. Bottom line; only come for the beer and you will be happy.
