This quaint bakery was delicious! They serve chimney pastry's which are flaky rolls of dough that you can get sweet or savory. I got a savory with cream cheese inside and my mom got the sweet which is covered in cinnamon sugar and Nutella inside. The chimneys were delicious and I would come back every morning! The iced latte was the perfect balance of sweet and coffee flavor. Highly recommend

We searched for a breakfast place on our way out of Winter Park. This one came up, so we tried it. Oh my goodness, I'm SO glad we did! The chimneys were delicious! My son even liked it. We ate inside, and it is the cutest little restaurant. The people were incredibly kind to us, and you can see them making the chimneys, which was fun! I wish we lived closer, because I would be there all the time. But I did already recommend this place to a friend who will be in town next week!

What a gem in Winter Park! Looking for a good hot cup of coffee and something to eat, I was directed towards Rollin Street Bakery! It is a small cafe that serves up some of the best sandwiches.... rolls...chimneys in town! I got the Vladimir and it was a hit! The veggies: bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers were fresh and bright! The mustard added a nice sharp bite, while the havarti cheese added umami and the ham was piled on! This was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time and the dough and herbs were tasty! My fiance had the mushroom, spinach and feta pastry which was to die for. They do an amazing job with their doughs here. Unfortunately their coffee that day was pretty lackluster and matcha was more milky than actual green tea. Their chocolate muffin which we had high hopes for was very dry and had only a small amount of ganache in the middle. Please stop by for their chimneys, you won't be disappointed!

A unique, yummy, and cute spot for a quick brunch! Rollin' is known for their chimney's, which are basically sandwiches? The bread is rolled and hollow covered in a garlic, herbs, and a cheese blend filled with fresh ingredients! Perfect portion sizes! Friendly service! Limited seating, better for a quick meal to-go! Would happily come back!

Rollin Street bakery never disappoints! Fresh made fancy coffee and teas, as well as fresh pastries greet you when you walk in! They are famous for these dough chimneys that are super soft and seasoned. They can make breakfast or lunch sandwiches out of them; and you can smell them baking when you walk in! Free parking.

This bakery is so cute! The staff was friendly and helpful. We got the Sweet Berry Chimney (berry compote + whipped cream) and one of the savory lunch chimneys. Both were delicious in their own way. They also sell various local goods inside. What I loved most about this place was the "Blessing Wall" where you can buy a meal for someone in need and all they have to do is pick a ticket and bring it to the cashier. A great community vibe!

Simply the best lunch spot after a long hike - The rolled sandwiches are such a goofy concept, but so tasty and the best refuel!! The lunch rolls have a really yummy seasoning combo, and then LOTS of filling options. I would absolutely return - I got a veggie lunch sandwich with cream cheese, and it was remarkable. Also enjoyed my hot tea!! It wasn't busy on a Friday at lunchtime, and the service was helpful and attentive!!

Stopped in on a Friday morning for breakfast and the service was super quick! Grabbed a delicious latte and a bacon egg & cheese roll. The bread was so fresh and delicious. I took my order to go but there is seating inside if needed. The only downfall was that the woman working did not seem to be enjoying herself. Cute spot otherwise!

Our group of seven set out to enjoy a meal together, but what we faced instead was a cascade of errors and outright disrespect from the waitstaff and management. To begin with, the server mixed up an order, which admittedly could happen in a group our size--but the nature of our requests made the errors easily avoidable and, just as importantly, simple to correct. Five of us ordered essentially the same thing, differing only in small details like scrambled eggs with or without cheese. When we politely pointed out the issues to the server, we were met with an unprofessional and rude response. At one point, he even went as far as telling some of our party members that they needed to "pay attention." This attitude alone soured the experience, but things only deteriorated further from there. For instance, when one person's eggs--which had been incorrectly prepared with cheese--arrived with no cheese, we kindly requested they be remade. Shockingly, the waiter refused outright, stating he would not redo the order nor remove it from our bill. If that wasn't bad enough, he went on to suggest we would receive poor service like this regardless of where we dined--a claim entirely untrue based on our many other dining experiences elsewhere. Given the escalating tension, we asked to speak with the manager to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the response was even more disheartening. The waiter brusquely declared himself to be the manager and outright refused to take any action to address our concerns. Hoping for someone with more authority to intervene reasonably, we then requested to speak with the owner. However, the owner was equally dismissive and maintained that his server couldn't possibly have spoken to us in such a disrespectful manner--even going so far as to deny any wrongdoing entirely. When I pointed out that the server's behavior suggested he might have been having a bad day but ought to remain respectful to customers regardless, I was met with indifference. I tried to explain how critical customer service is--especially when tourists like us choose to spend money supporting local businesses--but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Ultimately, things reached a breaking point when another guest at the restaurant ask us to leave, as no resolution. It was such a shame because, truthfully, the food itself was quite good. Unfortunately, no amount of culinary quality can compensate for the poor treatment we received from both staff and management alike. To think that we originally planned to purchase some of their locally made jam as a show of support for their business--it now feels inconceivable that we'd contribute any further after such an appalling episode. To sum up: while the food may meet expectations for taste, the dismissive attitude makes this establishment one to avoid at all costs. If you value being treated kindly or even with basic professionalism, steer clear and take your business elsewhere where it will truly be appreciated.

I get it on ciabatta with bacon and their bacon is actually quality crispy, flavorful, not flimsy. The chipotle aioli is what really makes it though. So good. Heads up: this sandwich is big. Like, if you're not a big eater, you could easily split it. I didn't even finish mine and gave about a quarter to my mom It's perfect if you're about to have an active day and need something filling. I also ordered a medium matcha with vanilla and my total came out to about $20, which is a little pricey in my opinion but the portion size makes up for it. The matcha was good, but quick tip: if you like your drinks sweet, make sure to ask for sugar or flavor. I always forget and end up with a bitter drink lol. Everyone here is always super nice and welcoming. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. I go here often and already plan to be back in a couple weeks. As I pulled the sandwich out to eat in the MJ parking lot, I looked around at the jealous people to see what I was eating. The xc skiing at Devil's Thumb has always been a favorite for us, as far back as the 70's when it was just a rustic ski trail system with a small nordic supply shop. In recent years it became a full fledged resort with lodging where we have often stayed. We have also stayed in Winter Park, about 15 minutes away and driven over to ski. But we have now found our new favorite option. This is such a lovely place, both the facility and the charming staff. It is a better price value for us than some of the other options in the area, yet more than a simple motel in town. You know, like Goldilocks, "just right." I especially want to note that the (included) breakfast that host John cooks for the guests was wonderful, some sweet, some savory, warm, homemade, natural and ample for the start of even an hearty ski day. They take note in advance of special food needs and serve with a choice of time options. The log style of the building is rustic but nicely furnished. The rooms are well designed and furnished with high quality linens and have lots of storage as some guests stay for weeks. The views from each room are very pretty, some to the Continental Divide, some to the woodland. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The central lounge area was large, comfortable, attractive and clean and with a central fireplace. There are also some other smaller gathering areas to sit and talk or read if you wish to be outside your room. And there are also some family and dog friendly cabins on site if you want more than a bedroom. Personally, the rooms in the main inn are just right for my needs. We will absolutely be back. It is convenient to local xc skiing and also just a 15 minute drive past the Winter Park Resort and not far at all from several quality dinner options. We met other guests using the lodging for all of these reasons.
