God gave me and my husband three beautiful daughters and today after going to Ikea, we've decided to find a playground nearby and explore the area a bit (moved here not too long ago) It was not easy to find the parking but finally we did. The weather was beautiful, I put the little one in the stroller and we walked towards this playground. Don't know why, it really doesn't seem like some special place BUT to me it really felt magical. Quite place, parents sitting on benches, kids running around, sun peacefully shining on all of us. It was like a sweet memory from the playground my dad used to take me. We absolutely enjoyed our 30 minutes of swings and slides. The place has a great atmosphere. You should check it out. Maybe you'll feel something sweet too. ;)

If that makes sense? Like, possibly, people who come here know one another and live nearby. I prefer somewhat larger parks (we love Weccacoe park) so that eyes aren't all on me; while i make strange, silly sounds pushing my toddler on the swing. Meh, thats just me.

Have yourself a fun time at this park!…read more I visited "Storybook Land" with my mother, and 5-year old nephew on a Saturday afternoon on April 26th, 2025. It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!

With scenic walking trails, an outdoor classroom, day camps and a small indoor animal habitat, Briar Bush is a great spot for small children, couples on a date, or anyone looking for a brief respite from the urgency of the modern world. With free admission for locals and a small fee for out-of-towners, the preserve is accessible to all patrons provided that they are able to walk down some wooded trails that circle through the admittedly short walking routes. The centerpiece of the trails is a picturesque, secluded pond with benches for sitting and an interactive sign with information on the local fauna and flora. The indoor animal habitat has a small gift shop, pamphlets on upcoming events and information on other parks in the area, and several interesting animals such as a blind possum named Odin, a bearded lizard named Karl, and several other unique turtles and reptiles. All of Briar Bush can be walked through in an hour or so, but the low admission, interactive nature events and scenic walking trails will have you wanting to return again soon.

It's a pretty big space with a lot of variety - displays, plenty of Legos to build with, a classroom, and a mini movie theater that we didn't get to check out, but think they might like it too. This place is amazing for toddlers and parents. There's a good size indoor playground, LEGO everywhere, several slides, a movie theater, and even a LEGO themed ride. When we went, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the whole experience even better. I've always wondered how my 2 year old would do in a movie theater, and this was the perfect place to try it out. Though to be fair, a 12 minute movie is probably a lot easier than a 2-hour one haha. But still, such a great way to test it out without any pressure. He LOVESSS it! There's also a cafeteria inside. The food was okay, nothing special, but it's convenient. Most of the staff were very friendly. The only odd moment was when I asked a staff member to take a photo of Lego Santa, my son, and me. He said he doesn't want to touch phones. I was a little taken aback since there's hand sanitizer everywhere, and thought staff would try to help out a much as they can. Overall, we had a really great experience and were so happy we decided to come. Perfect spot for toddlers, especially on a day when you want something fun, easy, and indoors!
