Finally took my kids here after being on my list to check out for awhile. The park is fairytale themed with setups depicting various nursery rhymes such as mother goose, jack and Jill etc. This a nice, smaller, amusement park with rides aimed at younger kids. There are two roller coasters but they are more kiddie like. I would compare it to Dutch Wonderland in PA. I liked that this park is more low key than the bigger amusement parks. My kids, who range from age 1-6, loved it. We spent a little over half a day here and were able to hit everything. The lines were not bad at all and we went on a weekday in the summer. I got our tickets off Groupon which was a much better deal and what made me finally pull the trigger on going. Parking is free. I was glad to see the park is very shaded because we came on a hot day. There is also a small splash pad to cool off at. We ate lunch at their cafe which was fine but on the pricier side (like in any other amusement park). I would probably opt to pack lunches if we go again which is a nice option to have. Overall, I would defintley come back. This is a sweet little amusement park and I appreciated that it was clean and not overly crowded. Perfect for the younger age group.

Storybook Land had been on my radar for over a year, but we just didn't have time to prioritize it. Then, a friend gave us a ticket for my son's birthday gift, so we finally visited this September. The park is very clean, safe, and kid-friendly. I appreciate the greenery and it was incredible how many hanging baskets of impatients they had! It added such floral color and cheeriness to the park, but what work and expense to buy and maintain (for those unfamiliar, impatients are annuals so they need to be re-bought each year). Anyway, my mom friend and I admired and were impressed by this thoughtful detail. I was angry to be misled at the snack shop when told the fries are NOT batter dipped before paying $8 for them, only to be given BATTER DIPPED fries! They honestly deserve to lose a star for this but above mentioned flowers canceled out this perturbance. But BEWARE THEY SELL BATTER DIPPED FRIES and we had a gluten-intolerant child in our party so that's dangerous and a liability to misinform customers! The rides were all animals, cartoons, or other kinds of kid themes, bright colors, and eye-catching. The rides entertained our party of 4 kids, age 5-12, and they went on all of them as a group. Even the most intense rides (and I was a little surprised at the drop tower type ride, and the speed of the roller coaster) were fun for our younger ones, thrilling, frankly. As part of admission in the fall, we got to do a hay maze, and decorate a free pumpkin with face stickers, a nice touch. All the staff I encountered were friendly (though food service was misinformed), and the roller coaster guy let the kids ride consecutively a few rounds as long as no one new wanted to get on. Pretty sweet! All in all a great day with friends in a fun place!

There are so many great things to say about this place. Parking is free! Admission is affordable! The park is the cleanest park you will ever go to. The landscaping makes me jealous that my yard isn't as beautiful. Food prices are a little high for what you get but still way cheaper than the other amusement parks. We also don't come for the food and there is the option to bring your own. The staff is friendly and well organized. The lines for the rides move really fast. All the rides feel safe and are also very clean. I'm beyond impressed with Storybook Land. The whole park seems to be shaded so you're not roasting in the sun. Even the bathrooms were spotless. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it here. It's my second time here this year and our sons 5th. Season passes for us next year is a no brainer. What a pleasant day at a pleasant place surrounded by pleasant people.

I'm remiss that I didn't know about this place all the times we took our little one to AC or down to the shore. Storybook Land is seriously a gem and a dream for a toddler parent who can be assured that their toddler can have space to run around safely and ride every single attraction! We even achieved a milestone of having her ride her first amusement park ride by herself! While yes the characters and displays are completely outdated and borderline racially and ethnically offensive and I don't know if PETA would approve the well-being of some of the animals, the place has been kept impeccably clean and well preserved. We visited during COVID and the staff were meticulous in spraying down every seat used and having riders alternate sitting every other seat to ensure the disinfectant had time to dry. I would recommend this place to any families with toddlers 100%!

This park was perfect for my 2 year old son! It was clean and beautifully landscaped. Shockingly, parking is free! All of the workers we encountered were helpful and friendly! My son had a wonderful time on the rides with no wait times! Our only regret is that we arrived on a very hot day, and therefore cut our visit short due to the heat. We look forward to returning soon'

This little spot is AMAZING!!!! Beautiful grounds, super clean and loads of fun for the entire family!!! The kids aged 3 and 5 are having the best time and the parents are enjoying all of the shade and benches. The rides are so much fun! No long long lines. We will definitely be returning!!!!!

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ LOTS of super fun construction-themed rides and cool machinary activities (e.g., excavator operation, crane operation, driving tractors, etc.) for all ages that you just don't find at other amusement parks. + Very manageable layout and park size for kids. Not a huge park at all. A lot of the rides/activities are next to each other. + Water park is surprisingly huge and spacious with 3 pool areas, including a giant water slide, lazy river ANDDD an impressive wave pool that is loadddds of fun. ++++ Life-jackets are provided for free to kids. ++++ PLENTTTTY of adirondack chairs are available for park-goers to sit on and move around freely. + Multiple areas to buy food with typical amusement park pricing. ++++ Food sold includes burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, cheese pizza, chicken sammies, giant pretzels, chicken tenders, quesadillas, nuggets, deliccccious soft serve ice cream and much more. ++++ Souvenir Cup purchases come with free soft drink refills on the day of purchase. $15.49 for a souvenir cup, while individual soft drink purchases cost around $4.50 (as of June 2026). + Multiple covered picnic tents to provide relief from the sun. + Big private parking lot has plenty of spaces. + Private parties can be booked here. THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - Activities, such as driving or operating heavy machinary, can feel repetitious when jumping from ride to ride. - Admission tickets are pricey at approximately $50 a pop. - Only open until 6 PM daily, but the water park does open at 10 AM, with the ride park opening at 12 PM. Wish they were open a bit later. MIXED THOUGHTS ---------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Visited on a scorching Sunday in early June and it was busy, but not overly so. No waits for any rides/activities. Plenty of space and seats in the water park and dining pavilions. Definitely could get busier during the summer when school is out, but early June was perfect. CONCLUSION -------------------- = Loved that the park wasn't overly crowded. The water park was surprisingly large and fun. The rides park was fun, but the construction-themed rides/activities definitely felt repetitious after a few. The price of admission could be a littttle more affordable as well.

    - Super fun and unique theme park for kiddos (and adults) who are into construction vehicles;…read moreguests can drive different vehicles around enclosed courses and operate a variety of machinery; some attractions can feel a bit repetitive after a while, and the enclosed rides can get quite hot and stuffy during the summer months - The water park features multiple pool areas geared toward different ages and sizes; complimentary life vests are available on a first-come, first-served basis; there are plenty of self-service lounge chairs throughout the water park, along with day-use locker rentals and cabana rentals; restrooms and changing stalls were clean and well maintained - The park is the perfect size for young children--not overwhelmingly large where little legs get tired, but not so small that you'll run out of things to do; it was easy to navigate and felt very manageable for a family day out; there's also a small arcade area, a kids' playground, a rock-climbing wall and a rope course - Admission (includes both theme park and water park) is on the pricey side at around $50 for a single-day ticket, though children under 36" enter free; admission includes access to most attractions, although a few specialty rides require an additional fee; note that the theme park and water park may have different operating hours - Food was decent overall: the chicken tenders, corn dogs, and fries were fresh and tasty; the burger was a little dry and light on toppings, while the pizza was cold, doughy, and could have used more cheese; prices were about what you'd expect for a theme park - Guests may bring one sealed bottle of water per person, along with a few small snacks; outside food and beverages are otherwise not permitted - Parking is free; in-and-out privileges are allowed throughout the day--just remember to get your hand stamped before exiting through the gift shop - Employees and staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming; many team members greeted our birthday boy with big smiles and birthday wishes, which made the day feel extra special
