A hit with the kids! Diggerland is the perfect place for young kids. The park is just big enough to keep them entertained, but not big enough to have them overwhelmed. It was thanks to Tiktok that I learned about this place! I was scrolling the app like usual, when I came across the park's official website, and thought, "This is perfect for my nephew!" He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it. read more

We had a birthday party booked at Diggerland at the beginning of August. Although I liked the place, I would not recommend a birthday party. First, I was told that they would call my party into the party pavilion a few minutes before it started. Needless to say, they never called so all my guests arrived to the pavilion late, therefore, the party time was cut short. Second, they were so cheap with everything, this includes asking them for more ketchup - we were given 2 little packs (total 10) for the whole party of 20+ people. We had ordered a chicken nuggets platter ($70) of course you need ketchup. Drink refills were $7.99 although one of the pitchers was never touched as the guest preferred the other choice and they were out of lemonade. Great place to bring kids! Full disclosure, we have only come for the Christmas lights so far 2 years in a row lol! Our kids are too young to fully appreciate the concept of diggerland. My kids had an amazing time at the Christmas lights! Wish it were 5-10 cheaper but you get your money's worth the slower you drive. Kids love standing on the seat or out the sun roof! Staff is always friendly. I wish they had a few more signs out front as you come in. Also maybe, just maybe since 75% of the traffic in the area is going to you, put up more than 1 small sign... lol! They really go alllllllll out with decorations! Truly splendid! The amount of money they pay per second to turn on all those lights, all I know is I wouldn't want to see that bill lol! Staff is always friendly! We pay ahead of time. Scan in and drive. I wish they had someone like last year with the menu at the beginning so you knew what to order, this year as you got to the booth you were handed a menu. Food was reasonable, even for theme park standards. Got a few cookies and a few pretzels! Kids are too young for hot chocolate, so maybe next year. All in all, they do a great job or decorating! Came during a weekday so we did not have much of a crowd or wait time for most rides and attractions. The dry attractions were not opened yet when we arrived so we went straight for the water. The water was on the colder side, but felt like it warmed up over time. There was a good amount of pool and water play areas for different groups of people to enjoy, which allowed it to look more spacious. The wave pool had real looking waves too! The dry attractions were cute and allowed the children to explore how construction machines work. Most of the kids had fun and enjoyed what they were doing. Overall: Clean, unique, organized construction themed amusement park with all sorts of inclusive restrooms My 2.5 year old had been obsessed with construction vehicles for over a year so we brought him here and it did not disappoint. I think one of the reasons we had such a fabulous time was because we went on a super cold Sunday in March and it was empty. Having no lines or crowds made the experience much more fun. We paid $50 per person. I am NOT an amusement park person, but this place surprised me. Everything was clearly labeled and the map was nice. There are different heights requirements for different attractions. I wouldn't recommend coming until your kid is over 36 inches tall. We got to operate and drive mini versions of everything you could think of- road rollers, tractors, excavators, cranes, gators, and more. Everything moved slowly and felt both safe and fun. Even I enjoyed learning to operate things like the crane and excavator. Additionally you could ride in bigger vehicles operated by employees and there were larger rides that were all construction themed. There as a playground and large emergency vehicles to explore. This is such a great place and a fairly reasonable price at that. We stuck to diggerland and out of the water park on a day that started with a downpour but ended in beautiful weather. This meant the crowds weren't really an issue. Highlights: my elementary school aged daughter got to drive a car right off the bat. Sure she couldn't reach the pedals, but seeing her in the driver's seat of a knockoff jeep was worth the price of admissions. My son loved the whole thing. it really is kids (and adults) operating heavy machinery in a relatively safe environment. It wasn't that loud. My youngest is a bit sensitive to that, so I didn't even want to go, but was talked into it. He had a blast. On most days I think the crowds are probably louder than the machines. 50 inches will get you through most rides by yourself. There are a lot of machines a 7 or 8 year old could do on their own. Downsides: There is are small electronic toy diggers set up right at the entrance by the bathrooms that cost money to run. It seems silly to pay $2 after the price of admission only to find the big real ones are free - but it's also hard to tell the kids to be patient while you're waiting for everyone to use the bathroom after the long drive. No good food options, and you can't bring your own. You're allowed to leave and come back. The real loss of one star though is that you can't bring in non-disposable water bottles. This is a great amusement park for kids under 7 or as a first amusement park experience. There are a lot of kid friendly rides that aren't fast but still fun (dumper truck rumble ride, tractor ride, etc). The construction theme is really fun and they do a great job making it engaging especially being able to operate an excavator and such. Tickets are around $50-60 so it's not cheap but make sure to use a AAA discount if you have it! My parents went as seniors for free (they just can't do anything, can only follow along but they were happy with that). Parking is easy and there weren't too long of lines so you're able to do quite a lot. We didn't try the water side of the park so can't speak to that but overall a nice fun day for kids! read more

This place is fun for kids but a very stressful experience for adults. Know before you go: this part of NJ is rife with traffic any day or time, and it will easily tack on 30min to 1hr to your drive. The traffic is also aggressive, full of anger-disordered drivers with no care for human life. It's frankly worth avoiding this place just for that traffic. First impression, they nickel-and-dimed us on a "free" ticket we received as a birthday gift. It was supposedly pre-paid but they charged us tax to get in. WTF? I'm sure the gift giver was charged PA tax upon purchase, yet they claimed it had to be redeemed at the window as a gift card buying a ticket there. Why? Then they charged NJ tax. Total fraud, and so obnoxious over less than $4 to put a damper on a "gift" from the start. (We received a free ticket to Storybook Land as a gift as well and they didn't charge us a cent; they too are in NJ and the purchaser was online in PA.) Staff attitude at the gate, and when calling, is very rude and uncaring. "Just gimme your money" is how I felt. They don't seem to have interest in the experience they're selling. The construction-themed rides seem safe enough but as a woman not into construction type stuff, it's a little intimidating to feel fully safe with my kid on this heavy duty truckage. A lot of rusty parts all over the place did not make me feel any safer. A huge complaint is their hours. Most weekends (as in standard hours in season) they don't open the rides until noon. The water park opens hours earlier but no rides until 12-6pm which is very annoying. If you don't enjoy water parks (like my family) then you are paying for half a day because there is no rides-only option. Other observations: Not all rides fully staffed and that causes lines. Some of the most popular have longer ride times that cause more delays. Not all concession stands open even during the summer. Their fall festival had a lot of "go at your own pace" activities that were a nice break from standing in line. Bottom line: My family visited twice so far but I'm not eager to return. First thing inside the gate is a paid excavator attraction that doesn't work well. Food is WAY over priced and not good at all. Once you get past that it's about the most exciting place on earth for younger kids. Cranes! Grapples! Excavators! Fire trucks! This place is chock full of them - that have been converted into interactive and fun rides. I'm just going to list the fun rides: Fun go cart type rides for the kids to drive around. Mini excavators for digging, some outfitted with a wrecking ball for some smashing. A giant tug of war type towing exercise with a large tractor that my whole family of 4 had to team up to move. Huge scissor lift that can go up 80' - we couldn't due to wind but it was still high enough for me at half the max height. Very friendly staff. Helpful and patient w kids. Diggerland is an all-around, great time for all ages. While there isn't the same thrill of rollercoasters, Diggerland provides uniquely enjoyable experiences and activities. I estimate that at least a third of the rides are operated/driven by the rider. In addition to this there is a zip-line ride (for an additional fee), rock-climbing wall, and a tiered rope course that goes up at least 4 stories high. There is also a decent arcade (around 5-6 claw machines and ticket-redeeming games pay out prizes) in the park which operates on its own pay card system. There is also a no-queue playground. For those of with infants and toddlers, there is a 36 inch height minimum to ride on the lap of the adult for most rides (the only exceptions to this rule in my experience are the Barrel Train and Battle Trucks; even then, the adult must accompany the child on the ride itself). While the pricing of the food is what one would expect for a theme park, the quality of the food was surprisingly good. The Caesar salad, chicken tenders, fries, churros, and freshly squeezed lemonade were all delicious. It was definitely worth the money. We visited the park in April with 5 and 2 year old girls on a special promotion that the park had for the any-day pass. We purchased the passes in advance online with the tickets exchanged for wristbands at the box offices (there is no specific line for pre-purchased passes). The park is stroller/wagon (we have a double side-by-side stroller; all the ramps appeared to be wide enough for this) and wheelchair friendly. The park has ramps at almost every attraction that requires it. Unfortunately, the water park portion was closed during this time (you can get the information about the water park operating status direct on the park website), but the venue was still super fun without it. Diggerland is definitely not a one-time visit for the family, and we are definitely coming back here in the future. read more

We visited Diggerland yesterday! We got there early and were one of the first families through the gate. It also happened to be the first day of there Fall Festival with live music, hayride, fire pits and farm animals. The adventure park was open from 11am-6pm. They had closed water park for the season. General admission is $45.95 but offer discounts for military and first responders. Zip line tickets can be purchased for an additional 6 bones. They many places to purchase the typical amusement park food that you would wanted. Chicken finger and fries were a hit with my kids. The attractions are to drive and operate construction vehicles and equipment. If you are of height you are able to operate the vehicle or equipment by yourself. However, for the smaller kids they are able to sit on a guardians lap as the adult can drive. It was extremely fun and they day went by quick. We had wished that some of the equipment/vehicles went just a LITTLE faster. The park throttles down the speed for safety. They also have a mini arcade, play tower area with swings and slides and a area for parents to relax after a day of being a construction worker. *No outside food or beverage except for medical purposes* read more

This was surprisingly fun even for the adults! We brought my 6 year old nephew here for a fun day for him and we ended up having fun too. A lot of the rides the kiddos can ride themselves but they can also be accompanied by a parent or multiple people in some cases. We lucked out and there weren't too long of line at any of the rides so no impatient frustrated meltdowns. All the waiting line areas had some shades or umbrellas so you were cooking in the sun while you waited. We all had a good time and some awesome memories were made for the kiddo. Fantastic! Fuma and perfect for kids of all ages. My four and ten year old had such a great time at Diggerland. Tickets ($45) to the park include both wet and dry parks. The Waterpark itself is not gigantic but it's perfect to stay cool on a hot summer day. The water park includes a wave pool, lazy river, pool, 2 water slides, a mini while out area and a pool area for younger kids. Food: regular park food - chicken tenders, pizza, hotdogs, salads, ice cream. I think this place is a bit overrated. Unless you have very small kids that are easily amused, or kids with a particular fascination with trucks and construction equipment, this park won't be anything special. Alternatively, if you live within an hour, its not bad to visit once and give your kids some new things to try. But if none of the above applies to your family, you might want to skip this one. They water park seemed to the most popular part, with many kids having fun in the wave pool, water slides, and pool obstacle courses. The construction rides are somewhat interesting, but very tame and typically just allow for a ride in a small circle. Although the lines don't get too long, they do take awhile to move through due to slow rides and safety precautions. It seemed only very small kids had interest in the "Digger" portion of the park. This area will allow for some cool pictures of your kids operating machinery. Diggerland does have an advantage over other parks with free parking and a quick and painless ticket purchase. They offer discounts to military, AAA members and a couple other groups. Overall not a bad place if the items in the first paragraph apply to you. Its well intended, but mediocre for everyone else. 3.5 stars. read more

Diggerland is a fantastic theme park for a boy between four and eight years old. You can actually use real equipment which is modified so no one gets hurt. From steam rollers and excavators to go carts and gators. Even the bed of a dump truck. The water park is included in the ticket. Small but just right. The two make a full day, a good day. There is also a portion of the park for 18+ who want to try real equipment without limiters. Maybe I'll do that next time... read more

Great FUN, for the entire family!!! The park is open from 10am-6pm. Get there early! The time goes by so quickly. General admission ($45.95) includes both the dry park and water park, but excludes the zipline. You can buy the zipline ticket for an additional $6. The food is the typical adventure park food. Chicken fingers and fries, pizza, mozzarella sticks, fresh squeezed lemonade, icees and of course the souvenir cup $13 (...refills of soda $1, refills of icee $5). Etc. Get there early and enjoy the water park. They have an area for kids and adults of all ages to have a good time. Splash with the little ones in the baby pool (life vest are available at the park). Glide along on the lazy river (no tubes), play some water basketball, challenge yourself on the obstacle course, slide down some water slides or just ride the waves in the wave pool. The adventure park has attractions where the kids based on height are in control. No worries if they don't meet the height requirements they can sit on your lap and control the gears. They have duck racing, bumper cars, rock wall, rope course, an off road jeep the kids can drive just to name a few. They also have a mini arcade, padded play area with swings and slides. And a nice seating area for parents to relax after a long day while the kids run and play. And of course an adventure park wouldn't be complete without a gift shop. First trip here yesterday, I was hoping for so much better but sadly, this won't be on our visit list moving forward. I'll add some pros and cons for other reviewers to weigh out for their own needs: Pros: 1. Very clean park and bathrooms 2. For a child who loves constriction, they will be on cloud 9 just seeing all the vehicles and such 3. Free parking Cons: 1. Long lines and very slow loading/unloading of rides. We waited, on average, 30-40 minutes to get on each ride. 2. Long line and wait just to enter park--30 minutes and we already had our tickets. Why? 3. Pricey. Cost to enter is on par with other parks but $30 for two soft pretzels and three bottles of water--again, why? 4. Food lines--took us 45 minutes just for above. 5. Staff needed work--a bit slow with everything and super lax approach. Maybe going for that but if every line contains 25 screaming 4 year olds, I might pick up the pace. 6. Allowing adults to ride solo--I'm all for adults having fun but when a line is already long, having three grown men live out their construction worker dreams and operating mini excavators for ten minutes is infuriating. Adults, do better and park, use some judgment here. Water area was nice and spread out so we didn't feel cramped which was nice. My kids had fun, all that matters, but this place has so much potential with some changes and training. We went on a 90 degree Saturday in July shortly after opening, there was a bit of a line to get in but parking was free, which is appreciated especially since some other local parks charge Disney prices. This was our first time here and I have a 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son, my son, 41 inches could do most but not everything and we took him there specifically (online said over 36 inches you could do pretty much anything) he was 1 inch short to do several rides even with a parent. It was super hot so after the water park we did the construction rides but it was just too uncomfortable out. The water park area was awesome, extensive and clean. I could've staid there all day honestly. I just wish it wasn't such a long walk to it. It was like you had to do one then the other. I think on a hot day it would've been nice to go back and forth between the 2 parks then we could've enjoyed it more. Like sesame place is like that. Though we will be back, in the fall or next year when it's cooler out and my son is atleast 42 inches and we will explore all of the construction park. Also, I have to add, the pizza in the water park (and I have presume throughout the park) was delicious, way better than any theme park pizza I've ever had. Definitely recommend! Perfect day for this park. (Thursday). My 2 Grandkids, ages 3 and 6 were just the right age. It was surprisingly pretty empty today. Most times we got right on the rides without a wait. The pool was pretty empty also. We picked the right day. I would be writing a totally different review otherwise bc I am not patient waiting in long lines...especially with young children. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy Diggerland is plan to split the time between the 2 large pools and rides for the full day. At 10 am when the park opened, we started at the pools, hit the rides at 12 pm when the rides opened and then went back to the pools until the kids were about to fall asleep standing up. Ha! They both fell asleep in the car within seconds from their very active day. The rides are clever and well thought out. My 6 year old Granddaughter loved the 4 story climbing thing. I was horrified just how high it all was. She was securely strapped in and she was fearless. Climbed all the way to the top which as I mentioned is 4 stories high. Even walked the ropes at the top. Omg. I was freaking out. My 3 year old grandson loved driving all of the tractors. We packed our lunch and found 3 picnic tables outside of the entrance. They do not allow you to bring your own food into the park. I deducted a star for this reason. I don't understand why we could not bring our picnic lunch inside the park. We prefer eating healthier than what the park offers. The pools were warm enough as the weather has been in the 90'. My 3 yr old was not able to go on the popular water obstacle course but our 6 year old was old enough and went on it several times. The 2 water slides were fun also. My husbands son, daughter in law and 3 year old grandson visited from Spain this summer and he took them there along with his 14 year old granddaughter. They all had a blast! His little grandson loved the trucks and digging equipment. Everyone loved the pool. It was clean; crystal clear, and the inflatable obstacles courses were a lot of fun. They all had a great day. Wish it was more attractions for the price... No outside foods are allowed... but the foods inside are so expensive for the size of the park... 1 large pizza, 1 salad, 1 chicken fingers+fries, and 1 ice costed us about 43 bucks. It's unique I have to admit, but once you experience, nothing is really special. read more

If you have a construction-loving kid and are within a 2 hour drive, Diggerland is worth checking out. We seem to have lucked out and didn't wait long for most rides (the diggers being the exception). Ride times are on the short side. Employees were nice and all seemed like high school or college kids. We contacted the park ahead of time and were allowed to bring food since my son has food allergies. We chose not to eat it at the park since the tables were really dirty. Bathrooms were dirty and surprisingly not kid-friendly, with tiny stalls, no stepping stools, and no paper towels. There was little shade and nowhere with AC to cool down for a few minutes. We had fun for 3-4 hours, but overall I feel Diggerland is overpriced. read more

Diggerland is located next to Sarah Sams which is about 30 mins outside of Philly. Free parking but come early as I'm sure the lot will fill up quick on busy days. I'll comment on the rides we visited. Once you come in head directly to he left to Argo Off road. This is a popular attraction and for good reason. My 8 year old was able to drive an 8 wheel all wheel terrain argo. The staff person sat in the front w/ him to make sure he didn't steer us in to a wall. Mini diggers was a fun attraction for my son. He was also able to operate this machinery and pick up a duck. They had a few things you can do w/ this and he picked the duck line. It's nicely separated in a few different lines so it moves quicker. Excavator express- You sit and you are lifted up and driven around. It's pretty cool and different. It's not fast so no worries. Dig Around - My son enjoyed this ride very much and got on line twice. I felt bad for the staff member because he went in circles with the ride. I'm sure that can't be good. Hopefully they give him enough breaks to get back to normal. Sky shuttle - It's a cool ride that brings you up really high. I mean really high. Rock wall was really cool and high. My son got about a third of the way up. They give you about 5 minutes which is fine. Ropes course... geeze don't get on this if you're afraid of heights. I went up to the second level and that was plenty for me. I saw smaller kids going up to the top and I give them props. My hubby wanted a pic with the camel which was on the top level. Not sure how he did it but he did.. The kid zone. This is a slide on steroids. It's up so high and it's so cool that I wanted to get in it :) My son loved this area. Worlds fastest backhoe... this was cute. Iy was $2 for a few minutes. Goats - We fed the goats. it was pretty cool watching them pull the strap for food. I guess they learn. They are far enough away that they won't bite you. Duck race - cute.... raced the kids a few times ... Gold Digger - I never get this type of attraction but the kids love it. I think it was $6 and my son did it and loved digging for gold. Too bad it's not real .lol If you are by Argo and see an old car sitting abandoned make sure you ask what time it's going to get crushed. For an extra cost and reservation an adult can crush the car. It was REALLY cool to watch and the person that did it said she loved it. We didn't go to the arcade or eat lunch here. It was not crowded as I expected as many people were probably scared off due to the passing showers. They offer a season pass at a reasonable amount so we ordered it (online) especially since they said we can use it for 365 days so even if we come once early next season we are still ok. Plus with memberships we can stop in for a half a day at a time and not feel exhausted. I noticed some people said it was hot there but Diggerland had fans with mists around the park. It was a nice refreshing treat to walk past it. We picked up a construction helmet which was reasonably priced. We wanted a yellow construction vest but either they were sold out or did not sell them. They only had pink ones. We got a pink one for a friend. The few things we picked up were reasonably priced plus you get a member discount. Will we be back? yes.. I'm glad we have a membership because we still have a few rides to hit and my son loved it here. read more

We've had this park on our list for a while because our boys absolutely love all things construction. We finally came here (a 5 1/2 hr drive) last weekend, and my boys (ages 5&7) absolutely loved this park and say it's the best trip they've ever been on. My husband and I were underwhelmed because it's a small park considering our relatively long drive, but this review is from the eyes of my sons, who should be the true judges of a kid-themed construction park anyway. We could've brought them here at younger ages because almost all of the rides are super kid-friendly. Kids over 42 inches can pretty much drive all of the equipment on the rides, and if kids are at least 36 inches, they can ride with an adult. We came on a Friday, and the park wasn't busy at all and we never had to wait in line. Our hands down favorite (yes, I said 'our' because we all enjoyed this ride) was the excavator row at the back of the park. You could use a wrecking ball to knock over bowling pins, pick up ducks with a hook, dig dirt and gravel, etc. We posted up here for well over an hour. Another favorite was the ropes course-we went on it with our boys. It gives you a great view of the park too. The soaring eagle zip line isn't worth the extra $6 in my opinion. It's a short ride (a few seconds), and it isn't anything special. Make sure you stop inside the air conditioned building right inside the entrance to eat your food. It's right next to the food stand, but I felt like a lot of people didn't realize it was for indoor eating. The food is surprisingly good for an amusement park. We enjoyed our grilled chicken sandwiches and the hot ham and cheese. Because of the drive, this park is a one and done for my family, but if we lived closer, I would definitely get a season pass. The tickets are inexpensive, and the season pass is a great deal. read more

Have frequented Diggerland for the past 5 years. My reviews always come down to the same thing..understaffed so that wait times, particularly for food, are long. I always want to give five stars but, today, waiting for 30 minutes for a water, sends me back to my 4 stars. Great place, great staff, just not enough of it. read more
