The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

She was not kind, she wasn't very helpful. I asked for a foundation and she recommended me a couple and I picked the $70 Sulhwasoo bc it felt really silky on my hand. I ended up using some on my face and liked it. I come home to find the oil on top and color clumped on the bottom. That's fine, you just shake it right? The expiration date is of Dec 2025. I have 6 months to use this whole bottle. I used my last foundation for over a year. There is no way a foundation shelf life is only 6 months, that thing has been sitting on that shelf for years. Also, I bought Anessa sunscreen for less than $20 bucks, they sell it for $39. This place can't get rid of their make up bc of their prices and customer service so if you do end up shopping here, you'll end up with overpriced, almost expired makeup. O and they make it clear there are no refunds or exchanges. I have never encountered a beauty store that doesn't do exchanges. How will you ever try new make up at this store? What if you break out or get almost expired make up? Such a waste of money.... Don't bother going here, there's other make up stores in the mall, try them out or buy online from a reputable store

The worker approached me and, while scanning me from head to toe, asked if we needed help, in a tone that seemed judgmental and unwelcoming. I replied, 'Yes, are we not allowed to browse?' I found her attitude unnecessary and off-putting. F you staff, just because we are not Korean and I have tattoos and dress different, doesn't mean you can treat me like that. They carry skincare items as well as makeup for both women and men. I even saw eyelash extensions! I needed a Dr. Jart+ Silver Label BB Cream, but could not find the revamped (2015) edition being sold anywhere! I knew Sephora sold Dr. Jart+, but they don't carry the Silver Label. I even looked online through Ebay and Amazon, but there were only the previous two versions of the silver label. I thought I would have to fly myself to Korea to get me a tube of this magic. BUT, lucky for me, I finally found it at BK Cosmetics. SCORE!!! The two ladies, Lisa and Wookyung, really knew their products, and, instead of walking out with just Dr. Jart+, I walked out with 2 other Clio BB Creams, 2 Vonin lotion sets for the men in our family, and a bunch of samples. If you don't see the product you want on display, simply ask the workers, and they'll magically pull it out from behind the counters! Haha. That was literally what they did with all of my products. They work on a points system, so if you're new, ask them to start one for you. They keep a record of what you've purchased, and after spending $200 (which is pretty easy when it comes to cosmetics), you get $20 credit! 10% in rewards is a REALLY good deal. This location is so convenient for me, because I don't have to drive all the way to Fullerton or Cerritos to get stuff, and because they really do carry such a wide variety of cosmetics and skincare products. Thanks Lisa and Wookyung for your friendly service, for making my day, and for saving me a trip to Korea!!!

It's near the Mobileland and Coway stores. When I first visited around the early summer of 2022, they were starting to set up their space and curate their assortment of items available. Initially it had smaller items in terms of beauty, food, and home goods, but recently they've begun to offer things like a proper Korean BBQ charcoal grill table for the home. Staff have always been polite and friendly whenever I've stopped in to wander around. Yesterday I was interested in the face masks they sell individually and a set of gel nail stickers with unique artwork on them. The girl who helped me shared that she used the masks and had no issues with them reacting badly to her skin. I picked up one mask and the nail stickers and noticed they had a promotion going on where if you follow their Instagram, they let you spin the wheel for a free prize. I won a packet of collagen supplement that can be consumed with or without a liquid or meal. In terms of parking, you can find spots in the connected structure for The Source OC.

They always had a mix of clothes that were good basics like cardigans and tops and some nicer pieces like flowy skirts and dressier looks for work or maybe a nicer event. Additionally, they began to sell some exclusive collectible books for BTS at a set price - it was good for those who didn't want to deal with finding a reputable seller online that had it in hand. For the most part, the women who worked there left you alone to shop unless you had questions. They weren't rude or overly polite, but service was fair. Pricing for the clothes could be on the medium to slightly higher range. Sizing was more like Asian sizing - if you are bigger than a Western L, it's unlikely you would find something that would fit you. The shop has rebranded to another name and the cosmetics have disappeared. (I think now they're more of a sophisticated Korean women's boutique.) Parking is rarely a struggle at The Source, as the structure has multiple spaces.
