He came in and helped me with so much around my apartment - I couldn't have done it without him! He is extremely diligent, hard working and goes above and beyond to make sure all of his work is precise and well executed. He did a few things around my studio apartment; mounted a 55" tv with a tilt mount, ceiling curtain rods (where he went out to get better studs and drills to make the job more efficient), assembled a book shelf, drawers, headboard and turned my single rod closet into a double rod - fitting all my clothes! He even hid all my cords coming out of my tv without having to drill additional holes in the walls. The best news is, he even helps when you have to move by fixing all the work that's been done in your apt so you don't lose out on your security! He is always in the city too so although he is super busy he is most likely around to help. I contacted Francesco about doing painting and carpentry in my apartment. His professionalism and…read moreexcitement about his work was immediately evident. I knew he was going to be the contractor I chose because, when I told him I was looking for something Rustic Tuscan, he immediately said, Well there are three ways of achieving that effect---sponge technique, sandbrushing technique, and Venetian plaster. He listed the relative costs as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each. Next time we met (maybe two or three days later), he showed up with large samples of each technique with a couple different color options and variations. I liked that Francesco was always on time and made it a point to be helpful, professional, and polite during every interaction. Things continued to run smoothly as insurance certificates were provided and work began. Any time there was an unexpected issue---such as a pipe in a surprising place that would affect the placement of a mirror cabinet---Francesco would call to let me know and we would meet. He was very self-sufficient and completed the work at a good pace. Francesco applied Venetian plaster---one shade of yellow in the living room and a different shade of yellow in the bedroom, hallway, and foyer. He painted the bathroom and kitchen with semi-gloss celery green paint. In the bathroom, he repaired a water-damaged ceiling, took out an old and ailing mirror, rebuilt some of the wall as necessary, and installed a new beautiful mirror/medicine cabinet and light fixture. I told him before the job started that I wanted those Venetian plaster walls to look like a work of art. Francesco met and exceeded those high expectations. I believe Francesco is already in high demand and foresee him being in only higher demand in the very near future. We are probably catching what will soon be a very renowned interior painter/craftsman early in his career.

Francesco and his team transformed our apartment into something that exceeded our expectations.They worked through a blizzard, freezing rain and sub-zero temperatures and still gave us daily updates AND completed the job on time, including immaculate clean up. BRAVO. Francesco has an artist's eye for detail and perfection. He's also incredibly patient as we went through several color changes, one of them at literally the last minute-- and it didn't seem to phase him. He was completely professional throughout, and keeps a sense of humor and calmness which really helps when you're moving. We really appreciate Francesco's honesty. We wanted something "different" in the bathroom and had purchased wallpaper. Francesco explained the reasons he thought the paper was a bad idea, but wasn't critical. After researching the matter we discovered Francesco was totally right on. The paper would have been problematic down the line. Best of all, he came up with the perfect solution - a beautiful glaze! They went above and beyond by documenting issues they found during the demo of our existing shower, and were extremely mindful of our place, always using shoe covers to keep from tracking in dirt, covering our belongings and keeping us updated on their progress.
