We complained why didn't we start playing with the 9 instead of just sitting there waiting. Little did we know they still ended the game early and the clock was running the whole time we were waiting for them, we didn't get to bat when we were only down by 2. Even the umpire knew it was wrong and the staff did nothing about it.

Goods: No drop dead times so every team gets an equal opportunity to score and complete an inning…read more Bad: unlike other tournament providers like NCS, Triple Crown, and PG tournaments, JWPB does not count runs scored (RS) as a way to determine tie breakers after factoring in run differential (RD) and runs against (RA). Instead they go to a coin flip for ties which confuses and upsets a lot of kids wondering why they don't get to play when they scored more runs RS than the other team but are tied with on RD and RA. JWPB does this they say because "feelings" might hurt if a team is getting crushed score wise so they believe not counting RS will somehow help a team playing poorly not make more errors, walk more people, or stop another team from hitting? I guess they forgot the mercy rule is in place for all tournament providers to "stop the pain" when a team is playing relatively poorly. Our team has played poorly more times than we would like, but baseball is a hard sport, and in every case we used that sub-par performance as a real life example of what we need to work harder on and prepare better for the next event. Sports are a great teacher if they are set up in a way that allows the best performers the most opportunities to win because that is how it works in the real world. The funny thing is, after our JWPB experience of coin flips deciding fates instead of performance, one of the kids asked if we would practice coin flips at the next practice. These kids are smart, just let them play and set up your event where the Champions are the ones who actually performed the best.

We have been a part of the E29 family for a little over a year now and our experience has been…read morenothing short of exceptional. We have seen our son gain so much confidence in his abilities after receiving professional training from Jon since early 2025. Jon was recommended by a coach/family friend of ours and since then, we have recommended him to many players and fellow teamates we know. They are all having the same positive experience that we have shared with so many others. We have already seen the growth in these players first hand as well. Our son, Maverick, who had already been pitching for a few seasons prior to starting professional instruction, started lessons at 9 years old. Soon after starting pitching, we added hitting lessons once we found out he had been drafted up to Majors within our local league. Jon has a true gift for working with young players; the way he explains the drills makes it easy for them to grasp the concept of what he is looking for when working on their mechanics. It's been great seeing the progression from when Maverick started and now a year later. Mav has always been a solid, consistent player, but his mechanics are much more refined thanks to the professional instruction he has received. With proper care and mechanics, his skill sets have definitely been taken to the next level. Mav is much more confident at the plate and on the mound which has improved the mental aspect of his game greatly. He's become both physically and mentally stronger on the field and we feel the time and money spent has been invaluable to his game. The owner of the facility Ernie, is very kind and welcoming. He is a wonderful source of information and will always take time to chat with you or answer any questions you may have. I have spent many hours at the E29 facility, watching many of the instructors. I can confidently say that the entire staff is professional, kind & encouraging towards ever player, at every level, that walks through that door! Our daughter (14U softball) and youngest son (6/farm) train there as well. Although they train less consistently than our son, we've still seen amazing results with them as well!
