This is the best soccer club, both recreational and competitive level, in the region. The other new club that started in Fullerton (FCFC) is a big mess, completely disorganized with little regard for player or parent behavior conduct and they treat their coaches poorly (I know coaches there personally and they are not happy). I highly recommend Rangers FC if you're lucky enough to be within driving distance. Rangers FC has been around so long they know how to properly run everything for a great experience. My son switched to the Fullerton Rangers from a very prestigious OC soccer club. We switched because we liked how the coach taught the kids how to play the game of soccer and how to play their different positions. The coach is great at positive reinforcement, he doesn't just yell at the kids. My son is learning how to play soccer and is finally enoying playing again. Save yourself the hassle to joint this team I set up my payment to come out automatically but there is a fee I wanted to pay by check and Robin said she can keep my check for a month apparently she's the only one that makes checks deposits. I took it to one of the main coaches and he said it was correct it's all politics here to be honest it's who you know and she has a horrible attitude and no one will ever the to help you out even though your paying, so please go to a different club and save yourself this hassle. Don't play in their tournaments. In our bracket the goals were not even. One was two feet longer. The ref for championship game was also ridiculous. Only one game had three refs. Their organization of the whole thing was ridiculous. For being that we pay so much money for this level of the game they should at least more prepared especially with making the goals equal. All the teams that played with that goal was unfair. If you don't have the goals... you borrow or you don't hold that big of a tournament. Below are the sizes of the goals. If I could give a zero I would. We were at our grandsons game last Saturday. We have gone to every game he has played every year. This coach from another team walks up to my wife and tells her he is kicking her off the property. WTH. ?? she had her service dog with her. This guy starts showing her something on his phone that dogs are not allowed there. WRONG. the Fullerton sports complex is a public area for Fullerton residents. They have one rule for the dogs. A 6 foot leash. She had a 3 foot leash. We have been with her service dog at every game this year and last. I agree with other bad reviews. This league has gone down hill the last few years. So sad. It's for the kids. Not for you coaches to play god. YOU ARE NOT IN CHARGE OF THE FULLERTON PUBLIC SPORTS FIELDS. I sent them a message on their web page. I would bet No One will respond. This review is based on my 7 year old and my experience with her team! Games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons! Practices depends on the coaches! Once again from my experience, practice has been scheduled on Wednesdays at about 4 and on Fridays at the same time! If the players can't make it they will not be penalized! They can still play on game day! The teams are by age not by playing experience. You have beginners playing along side with skilled players!! Even though these are little girls, the games get very competitive in the Fall! If it's your child's first time, you might want to start off in the Spring! Each player gets their fair amount of play time! Registration fees include a team T-shirt, trophy and pictures. A portion of that also goes to the referees! Each parent picks a game day to be responsible for snacks! It usually works out so that each parent gets a turn. This a great experience for your kids to learn about the basics in soccer and how to be team players! Shy kids will blossom and outgoing kids will get even more confidence! My son was in the boys (08) ECRL team coached by coach Jonny. One advice for future players and parents, beware. Make sure you do your research on coach Jonny and the Rangers club in general. Unknown to me, the guy had a history of insulting players during practice and during games. To me it's troubling to see a coach pacing back and forth in the sideline yelling at players and hardly ever providing "constructive criticism." To make a long story short, my son was the constant target of negative comments and every time he stepped in the pitch, he would get a warning from his coach about not screwing up or he would be out in a heartbeat. I eventually decided to speak to the coach about my issue with his approach and instead of hearing me out he said, "If you're not happy you can take your boy with you." When I reached out to the club president, he said he would look into it but I never heard back from him. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLUB. read more

This is the best soccer club hands down. My son loves playing as a Ranger. The parents are awesome and treat all the kids like their own. The kids love their teammates. It's a family affair with the Rangers. Our Coach Jeremy and Mgr David are the best. I trust them 100% with my son. read more

I have 4 kids that have participated in the Rangers Soccer program throughout the years with one currently playing. The Rangers program has done a wonderful job putting together events and assembling top notch teams. I personally know parents that volunteered to help in the past and currently participate in this nonprofit program. We love our team and look forward to many more years with the Rangers!! read more

I have been with this organization for 2 years with my son in their rec programs. This league is very unorganized and do not respect their own coaches. The refs they use are not educated in any of the actual rules they are supposed to be enforcing. I think they sacrifice the best interest of the kids for their own greed of money. I have two kids a 9yr old girl and 7yr old boy and they both participated in the rangers recreational summer camp. I have to say it was the best experience that I have ever had participating in a soccer camp! It was organized, and well run. My kids were exposed to learning new skills everyday and being challenged. I have just never come across such a well run camp where the staff seemed to actually care about teaching the kids soccer! Plus while teaching them they made it FUN! The best kind of learning happens when your having fun!! My kids both loved it and didn't want it to end!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! They don't tell you before registration the dates and times of practices and games and don't ask preferences either. They assigned us days and times that didn't work for us (we are teachers and have limited funds and time) and they then dragged out a refund conversation for a week to which the end result was only 50%. Their business practices are unethical and will be reported to the BBB. Their coaches are not coaches, they're parents of players but they hold themselves to be professionals. Their communication skills are non existent and they play the victim anytime there is a disagreement. We will NEVER allow our children to play with them again, are we are in the majority on that. read more

Do not waste your time and definitely not your money with this club. I truly believe the program is being ran by individuals who do not have the best interest in your childs development or future. Many lies, indiscretions, poor coaching, MAJOR mismanagement of funds, numerous lawsuits against the director of coaching and severe lack of community. They believe in intimidating the customer and instilling fear in those not aware of club soccer practices or rules. You're "not allowed or will be kicked out" if you attend a galaxy game as a team, visit another club for practice, talk to other clubs at games (or your grilled as to who you are talking to), or heaven forbid you help out a friend on another team. You can NEVER practice with your friends on THEIR fields, or the police will be called. The city of Fullerton has some major thinking to do about supporting this club. There was a tournament carried out by The Fullerton Rangers soccer league this weekend, the fields are amazing but i have to stop there. The staff is horrible, the refs are untrained and one sided. By one sided i mean they try to make sure their home teams win, call after call they make sure the home team gets the advantage and then they play the card where they pretend you are irrational by complaining. For gods sake do not participate in this peoples tournaments. I sure would not expose my son or daughter to lose against this refs and staff members. We also heard a lot of their coaches poaching kids in the parking lot. They are obviously not in it for the kids. They are all about the money and believe me they charge a pretty penny for everything and to be honest their services are the worst i have seen. Another thing I also know they have almost gone bankrupt three times. If that does not tell you enough then be my guest and give them your money and once they realize your kid is not good enough they will drop you in no time. DO NOT JOIN THE RANGERS OR PARTICIPATE IN THEIR TOURNAMENTS!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! read more
