I was concerned about slipping and falling, and wanted an anti-slip coating for the floor. I called Epoxy Colorado and spoke to Paulette. Paulette answered my questions and scheduled an appointment for Tyrel to come to my home and explain the options. After reviewing color samples, I opted for a new epoxy floor with anti-slip coatings and a custom color pattern. Tyrel and I agreed on a day to have the work done. Jesus arrived about 8:00 a.m. He explained the work, how long it would take, when I should be able to place items back on my new garage floor, and when I could park my car in the garage. Jesus was friendly and professional; he answered all of my questions; and he worked quickly and efficiently. I'm very pleased with my new garage floor, which looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. Contract stated a 50/50 payment plan that ended up being 50/25/25. We had new oak floor installed in several rooms as well as some stairs in conjunction with refinishing some existing floors. Lots of knot holes that should have been cut out and not installed. Also, I expressed that I wanted the finish to be exactly like I had on my existing floors. What I ended up with was 3 different finishes, matte, satin and semi gloss in different areas!! I was then told that it would be an additional amount to come back and refinish so they were all the same. Stair workmanship was marginal at best. None of the finishes were very smooth and I kept getting told that it would smooth out as we walked on it. It felt sandpaperish in spots. I wish I had checked this site and also social media prior to using them as this was by far the most expensive part of my remodel. After utilizing social media after the fact to air my frustration, I found out from other "friends" that they also had bad experiences with this company. This company has been in business for 17 years but obviously is not concerned or wanting to build a solid customer base for repeat business or referrals.
