We were greeted by the most attentive wait staff and decided to get the Nashville hot chicken appetizer to share. It was absolutely fantastic! I ordered a Caesar salad with the smoked turkey and couldn't have been happier. The corn bread croutons were incredible. My husband had the mac bowl with pork belly and let me taste the pork belly. Seriously melt in your mouth. This place is an incredible restaurant with fresh, carefully made food. Would come back again and again if we lived here.

(Note: I've often found this restaurant space to be cold inside, even when it was Home 231.) We were served by an incredible young server, Jonathan, who looked after our every need. We were also visited tableside by Chef/Owner Geno Goodman, and had a nice conversation about the restaurant biz. Our food was delicious. We started with the smoked deviled eggs, which were nicely smoked and seasoned. B had a special, branzino, with collards and Mac and cheese. I decided on a small rack of ribs with collards and corn on the cob. Everything was simply wonderful. The ribs were falling off the bone and amply sauced. We were interested in desserts, but decided against until next time. That won't be too long. I think we have a new Harrisburg favorite! Thanks, Geno and Jonathan!

Only a few tables, and one sheet of food pictured paper menu, sits on the counter, where you order and pay. I had some minor gripes, but they're livable (in my book). First of all, I felt the music was a wee bit too loud. I know though, had I expressed this, the volume would have been lowered and no questions or weird looks, asked. Let's get down to the chow, yes lawd - fried fish, collards & mac n' cheese. Portion sizes, ample - enough for breakfast the next morning. Thin, crisp, spiced right coating on that perfectly cooked fish. X's rendition of mac n' cheese, the addition of chili's and the gooey factor, there.. so there. Don't even get me started on their greens. Hope no one sees this, but.. I drank the greens broth; that's how good it was. Cooked tender, a slight tang, a bit of heat and a faint touch of sweet. I was almost tempted to order another go round of collards, but my acid reflux started kicking in. One other gripe, which I feel should be mentioned was the hubby's spicy fried fish sandwich, where the heat came from a pouring of hot sauce onto the fish, suggest to kick it up a notch through the spice, instead. I'll be back, though - get me more of those collards and a box of antacids. Hey, you only live once.
