We had been using this time to clean out our garage and storage shed and in doing so found various items that we were not sure if anyone would take. Some of them we were not sure if they were considered hazardous or not. The waste management site was not helpful and the hours were limited and when they were open the wait times were very long. I decided to to some research into professional junk removal companies and Junk Busters returned my inquiries very promptly. They had me take some photos of the items in question and provided an accurate and very fair quote, they then told me that they could come out the next day and pick it all up and take it away...everything! These guys are amazing! I talked to Mitchell late Thursday afternoon and set up an appointment for the next day to survey what I had to get rid of. (Two partial storage units of "stuff" left over from vacating a couple of residences.) He showed up early with his truck and co-worker, gave me an estimate and got started. They took everything, without exception. A few things that I think make them better than the competition. * They have incredibly competitive pricing. * They are very friendly, courteous, personable * They left the units cleaner than they were before they arrived, sweeping them out when they were done. * They set an appointment, not a window, and then arrive on time (or, in my case, early.) Junk Busters was amazing!! They were super responsive, incredibly friendly and efficient. Personally, the best part was no judgement. We had a ton of stuff on the side of the house, it was a collection that had been building for about a year, some yard waste, some broken yard furniture, residual from a couple repair projects on the house and general "stuff" that had been in the garage. This last Saturday we were in a crunch to get a ton of household items and outdoor furniture and some building material removed (and some junk) before our open house on Sunday. We needed a lot hauled away and with short notice. But on top of that my wife and I wanted our belongings repurposed and many items recycled. Junk Busters did an excellent job of removing all of the stuff we wanted taken away. They were extremely responsive initially and when we contacted them to say we were ready early, they came out the same day. They cleaned up a stack of junk in 30 minutes that took me a day and a half to pile up. They cleaned up the area where we piled the junk as if it were their own. Estimates were very close to what we discussed over the phone even before they came on site to see the work. Scheduling was easy and I got frequent updates for arrival time. I needed furniture moved out of a condo unit which involved extra work taking an elevator but the work was fast and nothing was damaged in the process.
