Not only were they significantly more affordable than the competition, but they had better communication and it was nice to know that I was supporting a local small business. Jamie was super helpful throughout the whole process. We had a house with everything from furniture to trash all over the front, back, and side yards. Jamie went out to the house the same day I reached out to provide a quote. The quote was accurate (exactly what I paid at the end) and reasonable. Jamie and team came out at the scheduled time and did excellent work. They were able to take furniture, debris, trash, and everything else away leaving the outside yard spotless. I quoted the junk removal project with 5 companies. I needed to removed a big hot tub, a refrigerator, bed frames and some other smaller debris. Junkzilla is not the one quoted the lowest price but they are the only one keeping their words on the price and charged exactly what their quote was. The others quoted cheaper prices was either no show, or raised the price when they arrived. I declined all those dishonest businesses. Junkzilla staff is professional and friendly. They arrived on time, reminded me to close my door during cutting to avoid spreading of foams, cleaned up after removal and explained how I should dry the paint before trashing them. It was very easy to schedule and they gave me a fair estimate when I wasn't able to actually show them pictures of the unit. They called ahead and were on-time for the scheduled pickup. She assured me that Junkzilla monitors the hauler guys' temperatures, and that the company asks that masks before entering homes. They were unaware that the appliances needing to be moved were inside. She assured me that they will be more diligent. Further, her message was very professional and understanding, and she did not ask that I move the rating from three stars to five stars. However, The level of customer service at this company astounded me; I have not had such considerate behavior from a company in a very long, long while. I will pick Junkzilla 9 times out of 10 now. Keep up the great work! We need more companies of your caliber! THE ORIGINAL: The guys did a great job and were very kind and respectful. They were accommodating and professional and worked very quickly. Even the dispatcher gave a discount, when I mentioned that the guys forgot to sweep. Unfortunately, I have to remove a couple stars. What a great local company! I called these guys out to remove various construction/yard debris that had accumulated over time. I got a call back the same day my quote was submitted and was able to schedule a pickup soon after. They were very understanding of my work schedule and made every effort to work out a time that worked best for me. When the haulers arrived, they were very friendly, fast and efficient. They would touch base with me during the haul when any kind if issue arose. As it turned out, the haul ended up costing more that the initial estimate, but I felt good about it because they kept me in the loop as things moved along. They were also willing to answer all questions and concerns I had during the process. I also love the fact that they do their best to recycle/donate anything they can from the load rather than just dumping it all. Yesterday they arrived on time, we had a call from Jamie to let us know they were nearly here. They were pleasant and efficient. Quick and tidy. It took about 45 minutes for them to pick up our mountain of stuff we had cleared out of the house, including a lot of wet fabric items that had been out in the yard during this wet spell we are having. Old furniture, broken this and that, all gone. Old tvs and monitors. We didn't have them take the old fridge, because of the 75.00 charge for fridges. We will have it replaced and the old one removed at that time. We definitely would use them again. The price was fair and we have no complaints there. But this kind of service is not super cheap.
