THEY DON'T RESPECT YOUR TIME! Wish I could give 0 stars. Made an appointment for pick up, took off work to be there....and no show for 35 minutes so I call and they tell me they can "send a guy out now- he will be 20 minutes- because they opened late today" So my 10-11 appointment is now a 10:55 appointment. I said no thanks and the owner calls me back with a backhanded apology saying they were still in within the timeframe. Then he has the nerve to tell me I'm playing games because I said they could still come check out the car but I wasn't certain I would take the offer if it changed from my original quote. Ended up getting $200 more then their quote with a different business anyway... read more

Such a simple process. We received a fair purchase price for our car, walked out with a check in hand less than an hour after we walked in. They even gave me the $100 referral check to pass along to my father who told us to go check them out after he also had a good experience. To be honest, I was skeptical to call based on the reviews I read on yelp and google, however I took my chances because I needed the car gone and I had a **GREAT** experience with them. They were the ONLY business that were willing to pick up the car from my house, let alone same day - and came within the hour! The guy I spoke to on the phone was very nice, told me a price (which the most I have been offered based on my weeks of calling places). I panicked and had to call back as I remembered there was a specialty DVD player inside the car that had to be removed. My husband was at work and wouldn't be able to remove until later tonight. He told me don't worry, the guys who come do this all the time and they will remove it for me. He did a great job and cut all the wires very clean. In the end I got exactly what was quoted. The car was not in great shape, didn't start and was over 14 years old, but had everything that was needed. In my opinion, even if they offered me $50 I would take it, because towing a car away would cost more. I think it's common sense the price is subject to change based on the condition of the car upon arrival, which is why I'm shocked so many people used that to post a negative review. As someone who had a great experience with them, I would say to people looking to give them a call, don't let those negative reviews steer you in the wrong direction. I wish I can give this place 0 star. My only suggestion is that simply don't do business with them. John is and rude and tough. I got significantly lower amount cash than quoted, much similar experience to another reviewer (Janice M.). I drove nearly 3 hours to get to the garage, but they were still more than 1 hour late. I didn't have time to argue with them, so I let it go. I may lose at this time, but they will lose more business in the future. This is a digital age and people should know it. Waste of time! This place is such a joke - AVOID. What I thought should be an easy and quick process turned into a waiting game. Took the day off from work to wait for them, appointment set-up for 10 AM, 4+ hours later and nothing. Was very understanding at first, traffic delays are a common thing, but come on - how does no one know where this "guy" aka driver is? Did he run off, quit his job, taking a nap?? NO, John is a LIAR and fed me a bunch of BS. No one ever called me to even say there is a delay, I had to call 3 times; he was never planning on coming to pick up my car. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could give a negative star I would. One of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in my life!!! The owner, John, is the most unprofessional, nasty, piece of work you will ever encounter. After my pick-up driver was over an hour late, I called to see how much longer he would be. I was told he hadn't even left yet and was running behind. It would be another hour. Ok. Fine, I thought things happen. I understand. After another hour went by and no sign of the driver, I called again. John tells me, he will try to radio him to find out his location. I am but on hold for 10 minutes. And am told that he will call back once he has an answer. I never get a call back. After another hour and a half and almost my whole day waste, I call to find out if this pick-up will even happen today. I am then greeted by John yelling at me saying he just gonna cancel on me and that a new driver was sent to me (cause the original one got "caught up"). And wouldn't be to be for another 2 hours! I ended up finding a private buyer who paid more and was so much nicer. I called John to let him know that I would not be needing his services and he again screamed at me and told me that he would (and I quote) "get my car one way or another and destroy it! I own a ton of other business!" Get some anger management course and learn how to be pleasant to your customers!! read more

He was amazing set up an appt. said he'd arrive the next day between 2 and 4, called me at 2:50 and showed up in 10 minutes just like he'd said. Honest, on time and amazingly helpful. I call for a quote on my Jeep. They gave me the best price of the 5 yards that I called. My Jeep died on my way there in a really bad place to break down. I proceeded to the location with the person who followed me. John dropped what he was doing on an obviously busy morning to tow my Jeep to the location. I was still given the the quote in cash. If I could give no stars I would this is the worst place ever. They offered me $200 for my old Chrysler Pacifica. The driver came to my house an checked under the hood and saw the battery was missing. I guess someone stole the battery out of the car without my knowledge they then tried to offer me $150. I said no way then the owner called me and started yelling at me saying I will never get $200 for a car like that and he started bragging about his business on Liberty Ave in Queens. very disappointed - you do not get paid what they quote on paper! Once they come for the car/truck they give some bs about aftermarket items, the weight of the battery. Nowhere on their quote, website, or telephone conversations with John Russo (president/ceo) was this stated. Shame on me for accepting the less than quoted amount - they were supposed to be at my house between 3-4 and did not arrive until after 5:30, so I just relented and took the money ($100 less than quoted).
