I am so glad that we used College Hunks for our recent move! We had to move our 85 year old mom…read morefrom her house to an assisted living apartment an hour away. This kind of situation is already very emotional and stressful, so we needed a moving company that was going to make this transition easier, not harder. We definitely picked the right company - they were super easy to work with and set up the move, and the price came in a good bit lower than other companies. Chrissy, the GM, was fantastic - always a phone call away and extremely helpful. And our two movers, Jr. and Keem, were very fast but also very careful with my mom's furniture, some of it was delicate. They also were very friendly and helped make moving day SO easy. Thank you all for a job well done! Mary K.

I hired this company to move my one-bedroom apartment less than a mile away and was charged…read moreapproximately $1,100. Unfortunately, the move was not completed. Multiple items were left behind, including clothing, bags, a laundry hamper, a lamp, a shoe rack, and other belongings, requiring me to spend the following day finishing the move myself. The movers also arrived unprepared and asked to borrow my personal tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture. During the move, my wood table was damaged and now has a significant crack. After the move, I contacted the company to try to resolve the issue. Communication took weeks, and after multiple follow-ups, my request for a refund was denied. The owner seemed more interested in arguing with me than addressing the incomplete move and damaged property. I expected a completed move, professional preparation, and reasonable customer service. Based on my experience, I would NEVER use this company again.

Workers always arrive within the agreed upon window of time. They are clean and neat,…read moreappropriately uniformed. They had parked the truck on the side roadway next to my (2nd floor) apartment. When they enter, they move swiftly & quietly to begin work. In this case, I have a huge pile of empty, sturdy, cardboard boxes (about 50 medium & large) to be removed and broken down for recycling. I have moved a few times during the past 50 years, but now at almost 80 yrs old, I have felt safe and relieved each time (4) hiring College Hunks Hauling Service. This time they finished quickly, processed the very reasonable price with mobile charge card equipment and left just as quietly and businesslike as they came. Well done! Thanks!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with College HUNKS. The move took approximately…read moredouble the estimated time, causing my final price to nearly double as well. What makes this especially frustrating is that when we booked the move, we specifically told the representative that we believed we would need more time. I feel that we were grossly underquoted and were not prepared for such a significant increase in cost. The experience was made even more frustrating by the pace of the work. At times, one of the workers carried only one box at a time and seemed to be unnecessarily dragging out the job. Meanwhile, me, two disabled veterans and my pregnant friend were doing more physical work than the moving crew, which was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable to witness. If we had not helped so much it would have been even longer. I do want to acknowledge that the other worker was great, helpful, and worked hard. Unfortunately, one hardworking employee was not enough to make up for the overall experience. For the amount of money we ultimately paid, I expected a much more efficient and professional move. Instead, the job took far longer than estimated, our cost nearly doubled, and we were left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Had we known the true amount of time and cost involved, we would not have chosen this service.
