I made the appointment for a free evaluation of a very large job. I received a confirmation email and several texts confirming the appointment window of 2 hours. I responded I would be there for the appointment. A little more than 2 hours before the appointment, it was cancelled by them and I was notified they would not give an estimate if they couldn't see the items. I told them they could see the items. This was the agreement right from the start. Then they said they could come and look but still not provide estimate. I complained at the corporate level since this is a franchise of a national company. This is not how I do business. Not for a very large job and not with anyone. Do not recommend these bait and switch people at all. Life is stressful enough with a big job ahead. There are other companies out there. I have already had estimates from two others without problems, and will get at least one more estimate before deciding. Junk King in Hialeah just lost a very big job. read more

This was easy. I had been shopping around to try and get rid of junk for weeks and then these guys popped up. I messaged, they responded almost instantly, beared with me as I changed the inventory multiple times, and then had availability for when I needed it. They were 1 hour late and even though I called them about 3 times( to confirm and through the 2 hour window they initially give), they were unable to reach out to the driver and obtain real estimated time of arrival. When they arrived 1 hour late, their truck was 3/4 full and were unable to take the material. So I had some old furniture and a large screen projection TV that I had been trying to give away but was unable to unload. I even inquired about donating them to charities as they were still in good condition but even the charities didn't want them. I was thinking of borrowing a truck and taking them to the dump but decided to look online for a junk removal service. I came across Junk King's site. I was able to make an appointment online and was pleasantly surprised by how punctual they were. I received a call about 15 minutes before the appointment time to confirm that I was at home and let me know that they were on the way. Once they arrived they quickly loaded the stuff on their truck and were off. Their fees were very reasonable and the service was fast and friendly.
