I was immediately impressed when I scheduled the pick up - I received a text both acknowledging the pick up AND a text from the someone (the owner in this case) confirming the pickup and inquiring about the load to be picked up. It was quick, polite, and easy! I know - that sounds like an advertisement but I always appreciate quick and simple...hell, I'm quick and simple. Pick was great - I got a convenient ETA text from Gary, and the gentlemen that came (whose names I don't remember despite literally asking them 20 minutes ago) were polite, efficient, and quickly loaded everything. I met the new owner, Eric, and was able to pay by credit card (which always softens the expense blow). I now have more room in my garage to fill with more junk... and the cycle continues. We are re-doing our backyard and needed to dispose of sod, dirt, and other yard waste materials. We called Junk Patrol, and they were very flexible and accommodating to get us on the schedule that week. Their communication was great; we received a confirmation email with the date and time of the scheduled service, and on the day of the appointment, they kept us updated on their arrival time with text messages. I got very fast and reasonably-priced service. Roseville, CA does not have a good enough recycling program to handle the boxes that pile up, so I call Junk Patrol once every month or two to have them pick the boxes and other small items that are ready to go out. They showed up on time, in their company uniforms looking clean and with a great attitude. The work was done swiftly and even a necessary quick call to "the boss" about something was done fast and efficiently. Back in August my husband & I unexpectedly received a notice from our insurance company notifying us that they would not be renewing our policy in October due to the condition of our detached garage. Our only option was to tear down the garage completely & we were on a major time crunch. I found Junk Patrol through yelp and set up a meeting with Spencer to have him come out & see the garage & meet with my husband & I. Spencer was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, & totally put our minds at ease about our how short we were on time. He even offered to reach out to our insurance company after we were in contract to see if that would help slow their process. Junk Patrol's price was right for us so we moved forward right away & Spencer did not hesitate to get moving. He always responded to my freaking out texts when I was worried about timing (obtaining permits took a bit longer due to how old the garage was) & he always answered all my questions & kept us informed on where he was at in the process. On demo day Spencer & his guys were on time, so friendly, & they got the job done SO QUICKLY! They even hauled away an old sandbox for me that was laying around AND put up a temporary gate to keep my dog in our yard now that our garage is gone. No one seems to be quoting the price of a full truck load so I will post what was quoted to me...$695 PLUS quite a lot more for some concrete block. Tristan was nice and courteous. His partner was overheard trying to stop earlier and not fill the truck up all the way. All in all I paid over twice as much as I expected...AND they want to charge me another $695 to come back and load/haul the rest of the brush. No thanks I will rent a trailer and do the rest myself. I had a confirmed appointment between 9-11 to Pick up a 55" flat screen TV. I waited and its 420PM now and they are a no show and no call or text. They only confirmation is when they asked for a picture of what they were to pick up, which I sent,...that must have sealed the deal as it wasn't worth (my guess) their time or energy NO SHOW. Sent them a text and their "boss" indicated he was unaware of the no show, and that was all I heard from "the owner". I give up and I was also going to get a quote on a Hot Tub removal. I would give zero stars if I could. They say they can give u an estimate and haul the same day. Funny, because my hot tub is still here, three appointments later. The first appointment apparently the crew was new and couldn't disconnect the hot tub. So, I came home and did it myself, without using google or YouTube, just common sense! they came back a week or so later and left. I thought that meant they had finished, since I wasn't home but my cameras showed them there. Nobody called me or reached out to tell me that yet again, they didn't take my hot tub. so I texted them, and complained. Apparently the crew this time claimed I didn't have accessible outlets for their saws. Not true, I have multiple. if they had called I could've told them exactly where they were. The owner said he would talk to the team and get back to me, yet I had to reach back out to him bcus I didn't hear back. So, the owner told me he would come himself and remove my hot tub. The appointment was today and nobody showed up. Shocker. I'm definitely going to find a different company, and I recommend everybody reading this do the same! We were disappointed with Junk Patrol. A couple of weeks ago we scheduled a 1pm appointment on a Sunday for them to pick up 2 mattresses and 1 boxspring. They never showed up at the scheduled time, so I called at 2pm to find out why. They told me it was scheduled for 3pm - yet my husband was on the phone with them when he asked me if 1pm would work and told Junk Patrol 1pm would work. 3:15pm I get a call and were first told that they were running late and behind schedule, but at the end of our conversation I were told they were having truck problems but they would be at our house by 4pm. The Junk Patrol guy finally shows up at 4:25pm looks at the 2 mattresses and 1 box spring in our front yard and tells my husband it will be $300 to haul them away. It was bad enough that they made us wait all afternoon and then to add insult and try to stick us with a $300 fee. My husband and I went to U-Haul the next day, rented a small box truck for $60 and the dump fee was $30 for those 2 mattresses and 1 boxspring. The job, from truck rental to truck drop off, was less than 2 hours We called Junk Patrol because we thought it would be a quick fix to getting rid of those 3 items. Never in our wildest dreams did we think they would try to charge us $300 - In the end we did the job ourselves for $90 - Less than a third of the price they wanted. read more

This is the second time I've used Junk Patrol and just like the first time they did an excellent job. They were at my house within a few hours of me contacting them. I was given an estimate after I had emailed pictures of the junk I needed removed. I was given an estimate with a low and high amount with a $70 difference. The actual quote would be done when the guys arrived. Levi and the other young man called when they were nearby and even arrived an hour earlier than anticipated. They gave me an estimate that was the low end of the original email estimate which impressed me. They even let me toss in a few other things without charging more. This is a very honest and fair company. They loaded up the junk very quickly and that was it. Great company, friendly and efficient workers, they respond quickly and get the job done worry free.
