I had a lot of junk in the backyard and shed of a house owned by my deceased relatives. Way too much work for me to have a dumpster brought and me fill it up. I had called other companies but one didn't do demo and another was reasonable for the hauling but when I told them I needed the brick outdoor fireplace demoed, the metal awning removed and the floor of the shed removed as parts of it had collapsed, it was a separate bid and seemed stupidly high, kinda like they didn't want to do it but if I was willing to pay the disproportional rate, they'd do it. Communication is really good. They updated me that the husband half of the team, Nino, was running a little late. Not a problem. Once the job started, the contents of shed were more than either of us realized. They removed so much junk that they ended up with more than two truck loads. Additionally, the work to remove parts of the floor of shed was going to take longer so I was given an additional cost estimate. It wasn't cheap but still very reasonable for the work that was being done. They weren't able to completely remove the fireplace that day but they returned a few days later and finished the job. Oh and I needed two sets of pipes that had been out into the concrete for use as laundry lines. They removed those for me too. Overall, I was very happy with Let's Do It Today Junk Removal for communication before, during and after the job, cost and overall service. Would I use them again? Absolutely! In fact a relative will use them shortly. Would i recommend them to others? Absolutely! One other thing. Let's Do It Today is legitimate. Why is this important? Because they dump their loads legally and not just on some vacant street corner, lot or on the street in Oakland!

They say…read moreit's a 1-4 business pick up and since they worked this past Saturday I'm at 4 business with no pick up insight. They say it may take another week to pick up the box. So if you order with these guys schedule a pick up and they will get to it when they are near your city. Also, they will not share with you if they have someone nearby and don't know where you are at on the pick up list. They said they have customers who have not been picked up since 10/14 which is 7 business days. Set expectations correctly don't tell customers 1-4 business days and then no perform. Ugh! On the bright side people do pick up the phone.

I called the company on 8/18 and asked when I could expect the pick up since they had not called or shown up on 8/14 or 8/17 and was told "I said possible pick up". I again asked when I could expect a pick up and was told probably by Friday (8/21). Again no one showed or called. On 8/24 I again called and asked why the two bags had not been picked up and was told the truck broke down. I asked when the truck would be fixed and was told "I don't know, let me call them and I will call you back". No return phone call, no pick up. On 8/26 I again called and asked when the pick up would occur. I was told "let me check and I will call you back". No phone call, no pick up. Today I called and asked to speak with the owner. "I'm sorry, he's not available, do you have an appointment." I said no, at this point she knows my voice and says are you in X and I said yes. She says"they have a pick up in X and will pick yours up after that stop". I told her we have street sweeping on Tuesday (we are fined $50 if street is no not clear on street sweeping day) and if they did not pick the bags up by Monday I would be demanding a full refund. Bags were picked up today. I felt I was being shined on. They changed fully on 8/6 and 8/7 and never followed through with call backs or pick up. Would not recommend this company. We paid over $600 and it took three weeks to get a pick up.
