Initially I wanted to get a big debris box from the garbage company but after I saw the price and found out that I had to apply for a permit to have it placed outside, I quickly decided to search for an alternative. I came across Small Haul and was happy it was so close to home, I messaged Julian through Yelp and is quick to respond with a very reasonable quote. I described my haul as Prius sized and he gave me a nice ball park. I wanted the junk pick up ASAP and he came the next morning, Sunday, on time at 9am. Everything was placed onto the truck and drove away. It took 2 trips but I'm now a happy camper with an actual garage with space! We're planning to remodel our lower level so when it comes time for construction it'll be a lot easier to move things upstairs. I did a massive haul request on Yelp and Julian sealed the deal. Most of my response from other companies was that they needed to come out and assess the haul before giving a quote. Julian asked for pictures, asked a few questions and gave me a rough estimate. The process to book services was easy. They came on time with smiles on their faces and got to work. They finished the job in 30mins. After reviewing and calling other haul companies his price is the most reasonable by far. He also works with a local church to recycles and donate salvageable items. Not really adding anything new, but wanted to give these guys a shout out on Yelp! Msged them through Yelp, and they got back to me in less than half an hour. He gave me his phone number and I texted him a pic of my pile of stuff. He came back with a quote, which sounded fair to me. The next day he txted to let me know that he could come 30 minutes earlier than we scheduled, that worked out great. I had all the stuff in the driveway, so it went really quickly, like 15 minutes into the truck. After loading it, he said it took less space than he thought, so he basically cut is estimate in half! Super fair price considering it would have taken me 3-4 trips to the dump in my min-van. Would definitely use them again... but hopefully not for a while, since they took away about 10 years worth of crap! read more

Julian and his wife did a fast and effective job getting a cap king mattress, box springs, big bed frame and two dressers out of my upstairs apartment. They showed up on time and were out in a flash. I would have dropped a five star review, and the ONLY reason I didn't was because I picked up about 14 screws in the street in front of my buildings driveways. Now I'm not saying all were from my furniture they demolished and hauled away but I definitely know a few were. I contacted Julian regarding an item Small Haul was selling which was given to them by one of their clients. We discussed the price and set a time to meet to view the item. When I showed up to meet him he texted to inform me that he had already sold it for 20% higher than the listed price. So, not only did I lose over an hour of my time but he also pulled a "bait and switch" on the other buyer. I don't think that's a very respectful way to do business. read more

I've used them twice so far - the first time to help me clear out a LOT of trash as I was moving out of a 2 bedroom apartment, and the second to arrange a curb side pick up of a mattress. Both times, they texted me ahead of time to let me know when they were on their way and completed the task at hand quickly and efficiently. When I was moving out of my apartment, they even deconstructed my bed frame and desk! The second time, I wasn't home for the pick up so they picked up my mattress and headboard at the appointment time and sent me an invoice through email after. They're really great on short notice, too - I was able to schedule an appointment just one day in advance while other pick up companies didn't have any availability for up to a week. read more
