Previously this year I had a lot of empty boxes cluttering up my garage. Junkman came and had them loaded and gone in no time. I am moving from a house I've lived in for 15 years. They dropped a 15-yd bin off last week for me to fill up with stuff I did not want to move. Today they came and hauled it away and filled another truck with an old piano, cabinet. etc. Less is better when moving. Kama gave me a bid last week and stuck to it today for both the bin and the truck. This was my first time using a company like this. First of all they were on time with a team of 2. I had enough junk for a full truck and they did a great job picking up the stuff and were very fast. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is I felt they rushed at the end and closed the truck doors before getting everything like it was full but I should have be more insistent about the remainder. With the amount I paid they should have made every effort but I'll know next time. I would definitely use them again. read more

My husband and I hired Junkman to remove some unwanted furniture right before we were set to close on the sale of our house. We selected them due to the many 5 Star reviews they had received. Unfortunately, we did not have a 5 Star experience with them. They caused nearly $30K in damages to our home - drywall, banister, and our flooring. They dragged the furniture onto the flooring, leaving multiple deep gouges. We ended up having to pay for all of the repairs ourselves, including replacing the flooring throughout the house. Lou, the president, did file an insurance claim right away and did apologize for the damage that his employees caused. However, he also blamed the COVID-19 pandemic for the fact that some of his regular employees refused to work, causing him to have to hire new people. One of the staff members who caused the damage at our house was supposedly on the job for the first day, but, according to Lou, the young man told him that he "had previous moving experience." I would have strongly preferred that Lou would have told me that they couldn't do the job, instead of taking a chance and sending unqualified workers. We nearly lost the sale of our home. We spent thousands of dollars of our own money to take care of the extensive damage, while hoping that we would get all of our money back from the insurance company.
