Dave returned my call before I could finish leaving a message and was able to help me clear out my Public Storage space the same day as my call. He seemed fairly honest about this type of service as I had never used one before. I called at 8:30 and met their 2 man team at noon. They were very 'efficient' and when we settled up they charged me for the 1/4 truckload bid, even though it seemed to occupy a bit more space. I would agree that with stacking to the top and mixing boxes to fill each the size would decrease so, yeah I'm happy they/we didn't have to do that to match the initial estimate. While I waited (not even a couple hours) for a response, I went ahead and booked on the easy scheduling tool on the website for a pick up on the following Monday morning (yes, less than 48 hours notice). The website was up to date which made the whole process smoother because I already had answers to a lot of my questions. Wow that was easy, fast and reasonably priced. We recently purchased some new furniture, along with all the home deliveries given store closures during COVID so the cardboard piled up. The fact that San Diego only picks up recycling twice a week, and has to fit in the blue bin didn't help. This would have taken literally months of breaking down and waiting to fit in blue bins. Reasonable pricing, sure you could sit and get various quotes and maybe some would be a little better but in a time of moving you get to the point where you just want the junk gone!!
