Buyer Beware - Get Everything in Writing…read more I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before hiring this company. Based on my experience I would not hire them again for any job. EVER !! If you consider using them get a detailed written estimate upfront that clearly outlines the full job scope and exactly what they are hired to do. Additional charges were added later for items like paint buckets and tires which were not disclosed during the initial walkthrough or estimate discussion. If you hire them ask for everything in writing--pricing disposal & scope--before any work begins. Thankfully I recorded a video walkthrough of the home with Tibor and saved the audio which helped document what was discussed. Also while I was at the property Tibor showed up unannounced to use our dumpster to dump trash from another job. The audio was recorded on my cars camera. Instead of addressing the concerns raised, he attempts to discredit the reviewer shifts blame and minimizes responsibility. The response includes gaslighting language by denying involvement rewriting events and implying fault lies with others while also making personal and demeaning remarks. Overall the reply escalates the situation rather than resolving it and reflects poor communication and conflict handling practices.

I was quoted $125 to remove a DUX bed base, but the final price jumped to $325. The company did not…read morehonor the price that was originally quoted. When the crew arrived, they immediately said they could not move the bed down the stairs because it was too heavy and awkward. They then wanted an additional $200 to cut the bed into pieces. After leaving and returning with two more workers and a saw, they learned the bed could actually be moved without being cut apart. In the end, the bed was successfully carried down the stairs, proving it did not need to be destroyed as they initially claimed. I waited all day for the appointment, only to be told conflicting information and pressured into paying significantly more than the quoted price. The lack of communication, inaccurate assessment, and failure to honor the original quote made for a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company if pricing transparency and reliability are important to you.

Late post: decided to re-share here, too…read more Ryan and Chris did an exceptional job getting me moved. They are well-mannered, warm hearted, and charming. Moving can be complicated. These guys make an excellent team and took away a lot of my stress. UPDATE 10 minutes later: The total I was given at time of exit was almost $200 (short) off, apparently. :-/ Shortly after leaving, I get a phone call saying there's a glitch in the system and I didn't get the right total, even though I confirmed with the men multiple times prior to departure and payment. They were still very competent and kind men/movers, but the glitch in the system seems nefarious and I'm left feeling like the company is at fault and it's designed that way intentionally.... Was going to hire them again soon, but sadly not now. Unfortunately, I have to change my 5 star rating due to a company error...that sounds incredibly fishy. Fortunately, I tipped the young men in cash. Although, my intuition tells me they told me the lower total to get the higher tip. Have a great day! Happy moving.

He told me he was a pro and it would all fit. They came to pack up all our stuff Monday, March 27. After we got to our destination, we found a ton of boxes that were half full or less. On Tuesday, March 28, College Hunks came to pack the PODS. It did not all fit. I'm sure you saw that coming. I had a bunch of stuff left over that I had to get rid of at the last minute before we moved to Missouri from Vegas. So uncool. I had dozens of moving blankets for them, that I had purchased. Over 20 of the moving blankets were unused, so I returned them. As you will see by my photos, they should have been used. I should have heeded Jerry and Amador's reviews. I hope you will heed mine. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE! We had many things damaged and they WILL NOT take responsibility for their unprofessionalism and the damage to our property. They said we would have had to make a claim in 10 days. Our PODS didn't even get to the new house in 10 days. It took 14 days. So by the time we saw the damage, it was past their self-imposed window to file a claim. Also, the corporate office told us that the franchises review and decide on their own claims. That's insane! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COLLEGE HUNKS. YOU WILL REGRET IT! You have been warned.
