I found a door here that I had been searching for on an auto parts site, and they had listed it…read morewith an A rating. I had asked for photos to be taken and sent to me to confirm that the door was in good condition without needing to be painted. The man who answered the phone was very nice and said that if the item was not in good condition, I could return it for a refund, no problem. When the door arrived, I signed off on it, and was on my way to work. I didn't realize until later on that the car had minor dings and a rust spot that were not disclosed. Minor dings I could work with, but the rust spot was a deal breaker. I called to have the door picked up for a return, and the very nice man said it was no problem, and that someone would pick it up the next day. The next day, I never received a call. I kept following up and was told that the driver hadn't forgotten about me, but was extremely busy. Three weeks later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. Another man picked up and told me he knew nothing about my car door, and that the last guy quit on Monday. At this point, I just wanted to return the door, so I told him that I would return it myself instead of waiting for it to be picked up. When I walked into the office, I showed the guy my receipt, and he had some men unload the car door from my car. He kept repeating that they could not guarantee anything because all the parts were used, but still processed a refund. Somehow, he also accidentally charged my card again before doing so. When looking at the refund amount, I discovered that I was not reimbursed for the full amount and that he had deducted a 25% fee for the return. As he pointed out, it was on the receipt. Fair enough, but when I had entered into the sale and gave my credit card information over the phone, I was never informed of a 25% return fee. Had I known, I would not have moved forward with the sale and would have come in person to inspect it. Also, ALL of my credit card information was printed on the bottom of the receipt. When it comes to credit card information, you are NEVER allowed to keep this sensitive information on file without the customer's consent. The way they do business and how this was handled was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this place.
