He immediately responded without looking anything up that he had sold the last one yesterday. I then asked for a different one and again said, "we sold the last one just today." I then asked if they would be getting any more, he replied that they never know what's coming in. He did direct me to other Spec's locations. I immediately drove to another Spec's location in Dalworthington Gardens where the employee looked up the beer on the computer, asked to check the name again and looked on the stores app. She let me know that unfortunately Spec's does not carry this beer at all. Thank you very much to the Cooper St. employee who sent me on the wild goose chase where I found my NEW FAVORITE liquor store. Spec's on Pioneer Parkway in Dalworthington Gardens where they have great customer service!

I then walked around more and started being followed by employees. That made me uncomfortable so I quickly grabbed my things and headed to checkout. I put my items up on the belt, and as I turned around to greet the cashier and give her my ID. She said in a rude and manly voice, I would need to see both of your ID's before I let you purchase anything! I explained my air conditioning is out and it's 84 degrees so I didn't wanna leave her in the car. She then said into her mic ID CHECK and refused my service and told me I couldn't come back for 24 hrs. I've taken my 4 and 3 year old children here before and have purchased liquor I feel like this was intentional and very unacceptable I will not be returning and I would advise anyone to go either

The owner gave me his recommendations along with flavor profiles for each beer! Very impressive! Out of all the bottle shops I've been to so far this is my favorite. There's a nail salon, a spa, a great coffee shop called Grounds and Gold Co., a QT gas station, a little pizza place. Fossil Creek Liquor is on the south corner of the strip. I know I called it "little" and it is compared to Spec's or Total Wine, but it's actually moderately sized. It's very well stocked, super organized, and kind of cozy inside. It's just one square room with several aisles and 2 (maaaybe there were 3?) registers, and laminate wood floors. Even though there were several customers shopping it was a comfortably quiet and mellow atmosphere. The staff greets everyone right away and won't rush you. All around friendly vibes and satisfactory selection!
