The setup is weird. You are seated and then you have to get up and go to the register to order the food. Backwards type concept. Food was fine, but my order was not fulfilled. I ordered a club sammich and an iced Carmel macchiato. We sat back down waiting for food, food came and I reminded the lady who dropped the food off that I had an ice coffee with the order. She said "OK" and never brought me my drink. I went on ahead and finished off the club and fries, and proceed to see the lady who took our order, walk by our table with iced coffee in each hand for the people at the table that sat after us. I went with my family for a 4th of July breakfast. The table ordered the Philly cheesesteak, quesadillas, Waffle House meal and the French toast meal. We sat ourselves and they serviced us immediately. You go up to the counter and order. It didn't take long for the food to come out. The service was great. They continually checked on us and cleared our table as we ate. I had a taste of everything. The scrambled eggs was the right consistency not to watery or dry. Check in with the hostess for table assignment and a glimpse of the menu you order and pay at the counter and then the food is brought to you; you get your own beverages. We stopped here for a pre-ballgame breakfast and it did not disappoint. The food and service was excellent. It's a cool vibe, laid back and a great start to the day. Just a heads up that the signage outside can be a little confusing when you're trying to find it. You'll see the word "espresso" before you see the business logo. We had a wait of about 20 minutes because it was fairly busy. As a New Yorker, I was surprised not to find home fries and corned beef hash on the menu. Everything was still good though. Was a bit of an elevated diner experience. You don't find breakfast quesadillas often so I always love to order them when I find em on a menu. I came on New Year's Day and was sat promptly with a table for two. Ordering at the counter was a little strange because I was worried about losing my table or leaving my belongings behind. The guy taking our order was friendly and honest about what's best, which I appreciated. I was stuck between the French toast, waffles, or pancakes, and he said our pancakes are the best, so I got them and loved them. I got a cafe latte as well and the disappointing part was it being served in a paper cup, which if I was taking it to go would have been fine, but I enjoy drinking hot drinks out of mugs so I don't taste the paper. The latte was tasty otherwise. My friend got a chai latte and unfortunately it was made incorrectly but they swiftly made her another one that tasted perfect. We had such a great time here, we were celebrating our 10th anniversary by meeting with a couple of friends for brunch here while were in the area for the Stray Kids concert! Please be aware, when you get seated, then you can go order your food, that was something I should have noticed or noted, but no biggie, someone came to our table and quickly told us how it works :) Everything was so delicious. My wife and I were out running errands on Saturday morning, it was breakfast time and Bay Street was close by, which I'd been wanting to visit. Upon arriving we weren't sure if there was table service or what. Several, very friendly, employees greeted us and explained about going through the line to order and then our entrees would be brought out to us. We sat down to look over the menu so my wife could go through the line. I'm an amputee and in a wheelchair so it's easier for her to "park" me and take care of the ordering. After looking over the menu, my wife decided on the Berry Crepe breakfast, and I decided on the waffle breakfast with over easy eggs and beef bacon. Shortly after my wife arrived back at our table, our breakfast entrees were delivered to our table. All the employees are SO upbeat and willing to please. They came by the table several times to see if there was anything that we needed. First off, their coffee is fantastic, it was so smooth. They have a coffee station with lots of selections and a barista. My wife loves crepes and Bay Street's crepes were no exception, she cleaned her plate. On to my Belgin Waffle Breakfast. Oh my, the waffle was one of the most incredible Belgin waffles I've ever tasted. It was fluffy and light and cooked to perfection. My eggs were also a perfect over easy. The interior is very inviting, there's lots of great things to look at plus the music was so enjoyable. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup.
