They offered complimentary amenities! Not basic stuff either First time I've ever had this level of service at a dentist, or any doctor. Erys was my hygienist. He was kind and explained everything to me. You can watch Netflix, Hulu, etc while waiting. You have your own dedicated TV. Dr. Villena saw me and put together a good plan for needed dental work. They have special technology to visualize bacteria attacking the teeth; the tech shows tooth health at each layer. Deering Dental is superior to a typical dental office. Very impressed. Flexible pricing with a discount for paying up front, in full. At the end, they gave me a welcome package. Including great dental products and my choice of a gift card The package is easily worth $50+. They offer this to their new customers. I was supposed to be seen in July. I needed to expedite my dental plan due to a filling from a (good) prior dentist coming out recently. I came in on June 9th for an evaluation. Velma--another hygienist--was thorough and nice. She and Dr. Pinto explained the urgency of my situation. They gave me specialized products to get my oral health back on track. Today, Dr. Pinto and Velma saved my wisdom tooth. They charged $300 for X‑rays and added $170 for flossing half of my husband's teeth -- nothing more. Having been treated by world‑class dentists, including Dr. Lindsay Pankey Sr. & Jr., I know what ethical, skilled dentistry looks like. Towncare Dental Pinecrest is the opposite. Their priorities are financial, not clinical, and certainly not patient‑centered. I reported the incident to my insurance, though I doubt anything will change; the system protects revenue, not patients. If the ADA truly monitors practices like this, they should intervene. Dental cleaning and true dental care should be separate disciplines -- just as a pedicure is not the same as seeing a podiatrist.

You get there and they take your insurance info again before you get your service. Only later do they verify insurance, which means if you're not covered for some reason, they send you a bill. A competent office staff will check coverage before they service you. I guess they don't care because they will just bill you and add service fees. Do they consider that an honest way to make a living? And don't be fooled by their website! Dr. Beddall spent many years building up a good reputation and good reviews, but HE HAS NOT WORKED THERE IN YEARS. He is still listed on their website! Very dishonest.

So, beware and watch out for hidden charges by the clerical staff. The struggles of having to deal with the office is not worth it. I have no piece of mind. They took my phone call and after explaining my situation told me to come in asap and that a doctor would see me quickly. And that as long as the doctor agreed the procedure could be done same day! I went did some X-rays, was walked through insurance issues and quickly resolved them and before I know it the staff explained the procedure and got it started. They worked quickly and carefully and had me out within 3 or so hours of arrival. That includes new patient paperwork, insurance confirmation, X-rays, doctor's examination and procedure! 10/10 would recommend!
