Me and my wife came here just to try though we heard a lot of good things about acupuncture. I am suffering from shoulder, neck and back pain for years working in the hospital and training jiu jitsu that bothers me even at night that I would wake up at times just to stretch it out and I have tried massage, chiropractor, myofascia release and cupping therapy which only gives temporary relief. A friend of mine referred me to Jun, he said he was looking for alternative care besides a chiropractor and found Jun. He was having issues with his ankle from a motorcycle accident and shoulder. After his 2nd treatment, he noticed a significant increase in mobility and reduction of pain. After my shoulder blade injury and waking up in the middle of the night due to so much pain, I became interested in trying something new. In December I went to lunch with some friends in San Fernando Valley who lived near the fires. Later that afternoon I started to have a headache. On Sunday the headache was really bad then on Monday morning I not only had a bad headache but I also had double vision. I started seeing Dr. Jun during my infertility journey earlier this year in June. By this point it had been 1.5 years of trying and my doctor recommended I try acupuncture. Dr Jun was immediately very welcoming and informative about her process. She did say trying to conceive naturally might take 3-4 months of acupuncture, and for IVF it'll take about 5-6 months to help prepare my body. I found Dr. Jun while searching for a new acupuncturist that had a more flexible schedule. I have been dealing with ongoing pain in my neck (leading to headaches), shoulder and lower back. During my consultation, Dr. Jun really took her time in explaining the process and how acupuncture works. I felt immediate release from my tension headache at my first visit. Currently, my neck and lower back are no longer an issue and we have focused my treatments on my ongoing shoulder pain. I have been suffering with right knee pain for over 5yrs. I had seen various doctors (internist & orthopaedic), taken oral & topical meds, had cortisone shots and went for 1yr PT.
