I cannot thank Dr. Lee enough for all that he did to help me get pregnant last year. I went in March of 2022 to begin acupuncture after all the testing I had done prior to doing IUI. Sure enough, I had one blocked tube. On top of that, I have PCOS so my period come whenever they want. We set up a game plan with him, my chiropractor, and my fertility doctor. Our plan was for IUI to happen with my May cycle. It was cutting it short. But all three said let's do this. The first two months, I went in twice a week. First of all, if you are experiencing any pain (obviously caused by your nerves), acupuncture may be your Godsend answer. If you are experiencing bone or adjustment issues, that would be an appointment with a chiropractor. In my situation, I woke up one morning with shooting and pulsating pain after I had done back training at the gym the previous night. The pain started increasing as time proceeded. I must've went too heavy or pulled a muscle which obviously pissed my nerves off. I didn't do anything to fracture or involve x-Rays, so the chiropractor idea was out. Some would think to go to one right off the bat, but it was all nerves due to weight lifting). I decided to Yelp & found Dr. Jae. I had never done acupuncture before, my grandmother suggested that I try it. Especially after not being able to do anything but lay in bed for 2 days. I had a lot of pain shooting into my upper left back. It was excruciating during peak episodes & upon movement. So I desperately went in on a Friday to see if It would help. I called prior to & went in. I didn't have to wait at all and filled out all the forms prior to the consultation. Dr. Jae took his time with me and diagnosing my issues. Being honest will only help you get better, so be completely honest so he can trigger pain & symptoms. He advised me that my treatment may take more than one session, in fact it could take up to 3... I was desperate with the pain, I didn't care how many sessions but I was curious to see what would happen. So he had me fill out the paperwork & had me demonstrate the area of pain. He told me to really relax, stuck a needle in my foot, leg and back of knee - I waited for a few minutes with all the needles in place. He came back and asked me to demonstrate the areas as I did the first time. Approx 40% the pain had immediately subsided! He input a couple more needles & told me to really relax for another 15 min. When he came back, my pain even subside about another 25%. I left with about 30-40% pain left (it was a lower level pain I could now deal with, kind of pain that would only shoot if I sneezed or coughed). My next appointment was for Monday.. The results were amazing!! The pain had COMPLETELY subsided by Saturday night, I didn't even have to go for my next apt. The doctor text me to remind me of my appointment and I let him know that he fixed my back! I will definitely return in the future if I ever need again and I would definitely recommend others to try acupuncture... And try it with Dr. Jae.
