Staff are very helpful and well inform the students to make sure the client is getting what they are requesting. *Only downside is services can sometimes take longer because it is a student learning experience, so just come prepared! The massages are truly amazing and I've gone back 2x in 2 weeks, bringing a friend the second time who also had an amazing massage! My name is Patcharaporn Pochaithong I'm currently 20 years old. During my time at Jupiter beauty Academy in Dorchester, Ma while studying massage therapy to get my license from September 6, 2022-May 1, 2023. I experienced sexual harassment by the massage therapy instructor of the program. It affected me mentally and physically throughout the program. Most of the students and staff knew this information and we felt very uncomfortable. The school facilities received the information about the assault and proceeded to bring me into a group meeting with the harasser (massage instructor) and the rest of the victims which was very nerve-wrecking. Then they proceeded to do nothing with this information except tell students to have more than one person in the room when the teacher wants to teach something or when massaging the teacher. I went to the police to make a report but they said the instructor have the right to say no to an investigation but it would be more beneficial for me if the rest of the victims also shared their experiences in a report, but my most of my classmates were Thai without a green card, or in process if obtaining one and don't want problems, even though the police and I reassured them that it isn't a problem. I have no one to support me because the other victims/ my friends from massage therapy class won't report him. I have no choice but to finish the whole entire program with the feeling of depression, and being stared down upon. read more

I had a great experience at Jupiter Academy. Due to covid I got to have David's undivided attention for the first 3 days being a new student to class. He was very sweet and highly educated in his profession so I got so much great direction from him. His staff member who is also an educator even with the language barrier he was awesome! He assisted me through my state board practice and helped me when I asked him again even with the language barrier. The staff all around are welcoming and very nice. They prepared me so well for state board I passed on my first try with tears of joy! I've graduated and have passed the state board for manicurist/nail tech. I felt great when I took the state board being well prepared as other institutes seems to struggle during the practical exam. When I get a haircut, my hair is always great. They are always kind and welcome. They have classes for facial And massaging. The classes are full of education about facials and more. The haircuts styles are endless! You can layer, trim, and plenty more. There might be some funny looking heads but they're super professionals. They fool around a little. But they can talk to you when you're doing a haircut. What I am really saying is you should go there and get a great new style. Or learn about beauty... read more

Its all about location, location, and location. Jupiter's nail tech program 100 hours part time at night was a great opportunity for me to be able to work hard, learn new skills (especially from my Vietnamese brothers and sisters) and to perfect my other soft skills. Well, I am almost done and will be moving on with my new passion as a licensed nail tech. Dave is a wonderful patient teacher. His laidback vibe and great sense of humor allows you to get to where you want to go. He is honest and will let you know how well you are doing and challenge you or how you need to take this work seriously. I have found a new passion. I am happy the school is in the neighborhood and accessible to all who want to learn. The rest of the staff have been kind, knowledgeable and professional.
