This place actually seems to have two themes "thin blue line" and dinosaurs. The golf course can be a bit scary for younger kids with loud noises etc. It's also a really short course. The lights are cool though! My kid had fun but I'd rather take her somewhere else next time.

Lots of fun for a small venue. Much cheaper than that other big place. Great for the younger ones.

Bel Air Golf Center has just two things: Driving range and miniature golf…read more The miniature golf is okay (3 out of 5 stars). When you think MG, you think silly, goofy themed holes that make the whole experience fun. Especially for kids. None of that here. But the holes are clean, well designed and still rather fun. The driving range is, what I consider, an ideal range.(5 out of 5 stars) There are about two dozen stalls. Half are covered (great so the sun isn't beating down on you, or the rain) and many have automatic tees. In my opinion that is the major feature. Not only do the automatic tees feed the ball for you so you don't have to keep bending down after each shot, but the tee can be adjusted to three different heights to accommodate the different clubs and different golfers. Everything is immaculate and in great shape. You can borrow used drivers in case you forgot your clubs. Lessons are available from pros that work with the center. You can sign up to get text message offers for discounts on both mini golf and range balls. The "club house" is small but you can buy clubs, balls, gloves and other accessories, as well as drinks and snacks. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. I'm glad to have such a great place close by to where I live.

Hit a small bucket of balls and decided to walk into the store to see what they had. While it was small and all new equipment, the staff was very friendly, acknowledged my presence, asked if I needed help with anything, and spoke to me about my hitting. Will be back and would 100% recommend to anyone in Harford County or eastern Baltimore County, especially with the recent upgrades and friendly staff!

Each child was $7.50, and I didn't have to pay. There's also a local discount, which was a nice bonus if your local (Central PA) . The best part is that your kids get wristbands for all-day access, so you can leave and come back later. The wristbands were convenient, but not every kid loves wearing them. One of mine tried to pull theirs off, so that's something to keep in mind. The entire village is set on turf, which made it feel clean and easy for kids to run around. There are around 10 little houses, all filled with fun, imaginative play setups. Things do get a little mixed around from kid to kid, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. There isn't much shade, and on a hot day it definitely makes a difference. We stayed for about an hour, from around 11 to 12, and that heat was the main reason we left. Food and drinks aren't allowed inside the village for kids, but parents can walk around with coffee, which is a plus. There is a food and drink stand on-site if you want to grab something. The setup overall is super convenient. Bathrooms are right there, and you pay at the main mini golf area when you arrive. There are also extra outdoor games included, like giant checkers and tic-tac-toe, which added even more value without extra cost. Parking is easy with angled spots, and when we went it wasn't crowded at all. The location is also perfect if you're already exploring nearby spots like Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Rail Road, or Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Everything is within about 10 minutes. There were a few bees and wasps around, which is expected for an outdoor space. It wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't interfere with play. This would be a great spot for playdates or casual meetups. The price is hard to beat, and it's an easy, fun outing for younger kids. I'd definitely go back, just aiming for a cooler day next time.
