It's not often you find a mini golf course that isn't in shambles or worn down, looking like it never really bounced back from its peak in 1992. The special effects may not work, the water is an interesting blue that makes you wonder what exactly is in it, and the turf is worn and ripped to shreds. Jurassic was an awesome surprise and great night out for me, the hubby and our kiddo. The staff could not have been nicer and the grounds are really well kept. I know it may sound silly to say, but even the bathrooms were in great condition. They have a variety of holes with two courses and along the way the dinosaur special effects make it a ton of fun. There are plenty of picture opportunities along the way as well, making it a fun experience for all ages. Really happy we found this place! read more

We went to Jurassic Mini Golf since it was located near the place we were staying at, the Holiday Inn Resort. We were a party of 4 with a toddler and decided to take the "easier" side of the course. My friends and I had a great time playing a round of 18 holes at Jurassic Golf when we were visiting Myrtle Beach. I picked this place out well before our trip... because anything to do with dinosaurs? Sign me up! It was a super hot day and we knew we'd be sweating... but we had to play a round of miniature golf here! There are 2 courses to choose from: the Ice Age course and the Predator course. We chose to play the Predator course because the lady at the counter told us it was the more challenging of the two... plus it wound up the mountain, which just looked more fun, right? :-) All the fake dinosaurs that are around look pretty dated - as does a lot of what you'll find at Myrtle Beach... but that's because it is... and that's part of it's charm. I like that some things never change. The one exception to this was the T-Rex, though, which was much more impressive as it actually moved and made noise as it attempted to break out of it's electric-fence surrounded pen... oh, no! ;-P We enjoyed our time here and took lots of fun pictures. read more

UHHHHHOHHHH its the mini golf season for big kermit and his moosey and we came across this gem. From the street it looked super cool with the dinosaurs and the fountains. We went during the day and it wasn't packed with people but had a good amount. 2 courses and me and my moosey had a blast. we even beat the standard course score but no prizes ;( The scenery was awesome and what was even better what the course itself. We took our little one here of all places because she loves dinosaurs. The turf was in great shape and if you're there to compete at mini golf this would be fine. However, of all the courses that you can take little ones too... this might be the least entertaining. Every hole is just turf with a hole and maybe some bumps or bends. Nothing to hit under or around and no dinosaur theme. When you get to the holes up by the road there are 4 Dino statues... that's it. Everything Dino is visible from the road. So if you're taking a dino-loving kid prepare to be disappointed. For some reason there is foam that comes out of the waterfalls(??) and she had fun playing with that for a hole or two. read more

Came here on a Tuesday evening for a date, and it wasn't busy at all! It was awesome. Ten bucks a person is cheap, ans the golf course itself (we played Predator) was fun and slightly challenging. The animatronic dinosaurs were funny to us but for a kid I could see them being a little scary! Reminded me of the movie Jurassic Park with the giant T Rex escaping out of the fenced in area. This would definitely be a great place for both kids and people on dates. I could see this place getting busy though in the peak season, so go in the evening so you're not waiting your turn while having the sun blistering down on ya. We had a good time! I went here today with my oldest daughter and son Inlaw! It is a great little spot very easy to get in and out! They have 2 mini golf courses! Both are pretty good! Some of the holes are pretty challenging! They do offer a military discount! You can buy the all day ticket and come back later to play more it is a Great Value! The staff is very helpful plus they do Offer Pepsi products to drink including Gatorade too! There is a Waffle House right across the street if you do get hungry! Mini golf is our vacation tradition! We visited three of the four locations run by this company and loved them all. This location was gorgeous- a lot of TLC shown to the landscaping. Lots of benches for resting from the hot sun. The dinosaurs made the game more fun. The green were all well designed and creative. I was very impressed with the kindness of the employees! This company also has a wonderful deal when you buy 20 tickets- my large family needed a lot of tickets! 20 tickets for $100- that along with the clean, well tended facilities earned my loyalty to their courses. read more

Went to Jurassic Park on a Saturday at around noon. It wasn't busy at all. This was the weekend of Labor Day so I expected more people to be there. When we first arrived there was only one other group there. The older gentleman that checked us in was extremely nice and courteous. He interacted with us and asked who was the winner of both games. He explained that we could do both courses for just an extra $2 per person. We decided that was a great deal and took advantage of the special. It ended up costing $11 per person. We started out doing the Predator and then later went to the Ice Age course. The Ice Age course seemed to be a bit more difficult than the Predator. However, one of us got a hole in one twice on the Ice Age course. We did not fill out the score card but if you fill it out and get a hole in one on a particular hole then you can get a free game. We were from out of town so we did not care about the free game. The restrooms at Jurassic Park were clean and had fans/ac inside which was great because it was over 90 degrees. There were vending machines between the restrooms selling drinks for $1. At the check out counter there were beverages ($2) and ice cream for sale. read more

Dropped by here tonight because, after a lot of research, it seemed to be the best value of mini golf you can find in the Myrtle Beach area. I had considered other mini golf establishments, but I had the future in-laws to impress and the other ones just didn't seem up to par (no pun intended). The course was in good shape and in fun shapes, too. This particular course uses synthetic turf, not the real stuff, but it does not make your skin itchy and the concrete isn't showing through. We made use of the coupon for $3 off all day play (until 6 p.m.) so we played both the Ice Age and Predator course. If you only have time for one course, I'd recommend the Predator course. It's not that the Ice Age one is easier, it's just that the Predator one is more exciting in the elevation changes and a few more chances at getting some shade. We came at 3p.m., so the rays were hitting pretty hard and we did not get much reprieve. There were a couple misters and a breeze which helped keep the sunburn at bay, but it was a losing battle over the next few hours. If you're curious about the level of challenge these courses offer, both courses offer different kinds. The Predator course features a few holes where the hole is invisible or you just can't see it from the tee. The Ice Age course has open spaces near the hole that make it easy to pick up a one-stroke penalty. Another thing about that one is it is more crutches-friendly, a lot less climbing around. Regarding everything else, it was pretty good. The animatronics for the tyrannosaurus Rex were what you would expect, but it was a nice touch. The theming functioned well, but I do wish it was integrated better with the course. I was pleased that it wasn't another pirate themed course, there are just so many of those. The holes were good, but a few of them could have been more creative, like using windmills or a loop de loop or something. The staff were kind and polite and the staff member working when we left stopped us to see if we qualified for a free game, it was great service. The prices for drinks and ice cream were a bit steep, but it makes sense. Overall it was a good course and would highly recommend this one over others in the area. Great mini golf course!! This was the first place our son requested we check out at Myrtle Beach. What a nice way to start our trip. Both courses here were challenging yet fun, and the animatronics were well done. The speaker system had dinosaur sounds, too, which was a nice touch. Cool water features and lovely landscaping were found throughout. Lots of places to find some shade and cool off. You can tell this place is very well maintained. Best mini golf place in myrtle beach. We went to three mini golf courses and this was by far the best. Like a ten minute drive down from the boardwalk area but definitely worth it. Beautiful course and kept extremely clean. Plus since it was not super close to the boardwalk it was not as busy. We definitely recommend this course. This place is a very nice golf course, wonderful spread and holes. I give 1 star because the staff are very rude, my friends and I went paid for both courses and it was clear when we started playing, it started raining when we were over with the first one, we went to get our balls back and they closed early, did not inform us they were closing, denied giving our money back and said "there's nothing I can do about it" and gave us a signed piece of paper for a "rain check" to come back. All in all good experience golfing, but the staff is horrible. read more
