I had the worst interaction with the police officers that were dispatched to my younger brothers car accident. CONTEXT For context, my younger brother was involved in an accident where a woman ran a red light while he was actively turning on a protected left turn. I received a call that he was involved and rushed my way over INTERACTION I was dropped off quickly to the scene and the first officer I engaged with yelled at me for my drop off location. I explained to him I did not know that was not allowed, was here for my brother, and I asked where we could be dropped off time. He cursed at me and continued to yell at me for this instead of listening to anything I had to say. I am actively telling him that I was unaware and I am trying to reach my younger brother who I have no idea is okay or not! He told me that did not matter and I needed to listen to him that I can't be dropped off at this location. His words included "Stop talking and listen to me," "I don't care about what you have to say, that's not important," and "stop talking I don't care about that, you can check on your brother later" with a sprinkle of F bombs. All of this because I was dropped off in a closed lane of the road THAT THEY SECTIONED OFF that no one was driving in. I can acknowledge that I was in the wrong of the drop off location if that is legally true (I also apologized for the drop off), but it's the manner of speaking and engagement that makes the whole interaction disgusting. Imagine if that was your family member in a totaled accident and an officer is more concerned with this than the well being of the drivers involved or the concern of their family members. This was NOT a matter of safety or protecting ongoing traffic. This was a power trip of a lazy and compassionless officer. Do better. Read the room and communicate better. A tragic car accident is not the time to yell and be aggressive. It is the time to be professional, empathetic, and show compassion. Train your officers better. He also continued to laugh and make jokes with cars passing by who were making fun of the accident. He was saying things like "Oh yeah not too bad huh?" And "Oh yeah this one's not too shabby isn't it?" with cars hollering by. Terrible officer along with the other men who were there. They all were sarcastic and asked us stupid questions. One had told us he was involved with traffic for 10 years before his current position. He asked us if the car is drivable. The car is clearly not drivable and you can see that. Every male officer was absolutely terrible. You can tell how they treat citizens in their community. Absolute worst civil service ever. Just came in for a fix it ticket, they take cash only. And I've been waiting here for 40 minutes, AFTER I have called dispatch. No one seems to bother to help me and they keep telling me someone will be out there. It is a Thursday between the hours of 9am-11am. Whoever is in charge really does not care FOR The people. I've been to other sheriffs stations before and they helped me immediately, walked out with me and everything as soon as I stepped in. Gang unit stopped my boyfriend because he had a bench warrant. They were cool with us they called me over so I'm could get his belongings and let me say bye. Sanchez is a really cool officer and I always had bad luck when I was stopped by them. The only thing that sucked is that my trailer was towed and I had sljed to two officers the next morning they gave me a couple more days to get it moved I never got a chance to move it because as I was eating my trailer was behind a tow truck driving in front of me. So now I'm not only alone out here but now really am homeless I hope they fed kick my boyfriend I hate being out here by myself. Please give me a break. The leadership of this station must do a better job. They might as well be security guards. With a court order in hand to repossess a vehicle get attacked brutally on camera. The deputy refused to write a report saying it is too much paperwork. Yes he actually said that. The deputy disregarded the court order, the visible injuries and body cam footage. So this is a long one, So stay tuned!! There was some sort of stupid takeover at the Walmart On limonite, and I had sent my 17 year old son there to go buy dog food. I get a frantic call about 20 minutes later, that he's getting pulled over by and UNMARKED vehicle with flashing red and blue lights. I told him to pull over in a very well lighted area and to wait until I got there. This happened at around 7pm on a Sunday night. He pulled over at the Arco on Limonite ave and my daughter had me on speaker the whole time. He was nervous and scared. Officer Roach approached them and proceeded to ask my son questions about his car. Turns out my son got pulled over because "His car looked modified." WTF does that mean? I can get pulled over because "I look mexican?" Turns out he gave my son a ticket for his "modified exhaust and cold air intake" he also wrote him a ticket for no front license plate and window tint. Fact of the matter is, MY SON SHOULDN'T have gotten pulled over in the first place!!! Anyway I arrive and he police officer says, its a good thing I showed up or the vehicle was going to get towed....Okay? Fast forward to 3 days later. I get everything fixed for the State Ref, turns out they won't accept my sons appointment, because , you ready for this? BECAUSE THEY CANT READ OFFICER ROACH'S writing!! Really? You've got to be kidding me!! I have to take the bus, so my son can use my car, and your sloppy handwriting is preventing us from moving forward? WTF!? I plan on calling the watch commander and making a formal complaint against this officer. My son had nothing to do with that stupid takeover, and there is no reason my son should have been pulled over. Its not his fault his dad can afford him a nice car and it "looks modified." The cold air intake is California CARB legal, and the exhaust the car has, comes like that from factory!! Tint and plate, ok, ill give you that.... Not sure what all the 1 star reviews are about. Most likely people with unrealistic expectations. I received an incident/police number from the sheriff that arrived on the scene and in the chaos I lost the card. I called in this morning spoke to a receptionist or operator; not sure of the title and mean no disrespect. She asked for relevant information. Date, time, location, victim's name and my relation. Took about 4 minutes. My experience was stellar and responsive, especially when I was my fault for losing the info. Way to go RSO read more

Came here for a Live Scan. The guy at the front desk was super rude, didn't even look at me when I told him what I was there for, he asked me for my ID, and told me to sit down and wait for someone to call me. All of the other people who were waiting seemed like they didn't want to be there, which I can understand, but if the front desk guy's attitude is any indication of the other people there, then I can understand how their experience isn't made any better. The officer who called me back had a bad attitude until she found out that I was getting a Live Scan because I was a law student. She was nice the rest of the time, but come on you don't have to be rude until you find out someone isn't a criminal or something. I think this is why cops have a bad reputation, a lot of them are very rude and have bad attitudes. Gave two stars because it's a convenient location for a Live Scan, and because of its location I don't think there will ever really be a long wait to get one here. Just make sure you make an appointment before hand; imagine the attitude you would get if you just tried to do a walk-in. read more

Updated review as of March 2, 2021.... I was informed that action was finally taken. The solution I hoped for didn't take place (getting my kitten back) for the breeder (Ragnarok Cattery) refused to give up my kitten. The kitten has a microchip and is registered to me. Not sure why kittens were taken for safety reasons, yet my kitten wasn't one of them, especially since the microchip is registered to me. I'm told that doesn't matter in the long run, which is a waste of money and effort if it won't be in consideration. Thank you for taking some kind of action, even if it wasn't the outcome I hoped for. I hope that Cattery leases their lesson. Much appreciated! Prior review before action was taken... I am VERY disappointed with this department. I have been calling for help since December and again just now got off the phone and NO ONE will help my situation. I understand the one star review overall that this station has. I called ahead to get a police report case number so that I could be prepared upon picking up my report. The woman who answered was there when I arrived 10 minutes later (I recognized her voice and the manner in which she spoke to me and others on the phone as I walked up-- condescending at best.) She proceeded to tell me that my file number was incomplete-- when she had just provided me with the number 10 minutes earlier. I sat patiently while she looked it up by name as she had done already by phone, and she found it. She asked me to have a seat and that they would be with me shortly after checking to see if the report was ready. The report was filed November 2018 and it is now May 2019 -- I'm pretty sure it's ready, it's been 7 months. I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and she is answering calls, not bothering to get my report. Customer service? You won't find it here. Ridiculous. read more

Our house got broken into last month and completely ransacked by the burglars and I have yet to hear from a detective to Handle our case. We have constantly been side stepped and avoided when calling the sheriffs station and even when we go into the station, they have us wait for hours just to get side stepped yet again. my house got broken into recently, the morning it happened the cops came quick, but never caught the man. the same night I saw the man walking on my street and called again, never came and now he's still out there. The next day I saw him AGAIN. Called again, a cop did come and then scolded me for calling because I was "sending him on a wild goose chase" what's your job then? he then continued to say "don't call unless he's in your house again" this is absolutely terrible. does someone have to die or get raped for the police to care? my life could be at risk yet they don't seem to care one bit. I have to live in fear knowing he's still out there and probably wants to come back to my house, I actually saw him again today and couldn't do anything about it. He's broken into 2 other places on my street and probably more, this is insane and should've been taken care of but the police don't want to do their job iguess. So they shut down Walmart a couple of weeks back and had the main road blocked off for no apparent reason so I was a little annoyed but I get it. Then I was following the temporary road signs and it said not to turn left so I turned right, past the police barricade and this hag of a cop flagged me down and asked if I was "retarded" (a word you are not supposed to use) or if I couldn't read and I immediately lost it at the point and told her that the sign says don't turn left, where do I turn than? And she said well not in to oncoming traffic and I told her I was going to the Carl's Jr. parking lot so I could turn out onto the Van Buren Highway. And she said no, you idiot, you need to turn the other way and told me to go. Like what kind of person that is supposed to help citizens talks to them like that. My parked car was hit in a parking lot in Norco. The person left the car on my car and left the scene. We called the police. After about 30 minutes, Deputy Michael Beal #5068 appeared. The owner of the car was next door at work, we learned by talking to local business owners. The cop went and got the kid and brought him over. He denied that he was driving the car. Regardless, we got his insurance info. The cop didn't take a report. He did reassure us, though, that he would get video footage from the parking lot camera. We called and left messages for Deputy Beal to return our calls and wanting to see if he'd been able to get the video footage. We left 5 different phone message and did not get a call back. We then were able to obtain an email address for him. Sent him 3 different emails. He responded to the 3rd one saying that he was going to try to get the video footage. That's what he said on the day of the accident so he obviously had done nothing about it. We followed up again since we had heard nothing from him and it was 2 months later. Still nothing. I managed to get the info I needed to get the claim settled but with no help from him. Good to know my tax dollars are hard at work paying for cops like these that won't do their job.
