The salon itself is beautiful...very artsy, chic, and full of positive energy. What stood out to me most was how well everyone worked together. I was referred to Mayko after seeing the amazing job he did on my nurse's hair, and I knew I had to book an appointment with him. It ended up being one of the best decisions I've made. But the constant tangles and excessive breakage had gotten to the point that I dreaded brushing my hair. I was amazed that I actually got an appointment with Serap - but so happy that I got one. Fast forward a few hours later, my 77 year old grey hair looks and feels decades younger and a brush is no longer my enemy. All it took was a shampoo, a fabulous hair treatment specifically for my wiry greys and a good trim. To make things even better, they carry the full line of my favorite hair products Kerastase which are fabulous. I left with such soft and manageable hair that I hadn't seen for a long long time. So I had my husband take me out to dinner with my hair down instead of pulled back! Plus it was quite clear that my natural wave was not lost but back again! I will start by saying this is the most expensive haircut I have ever had...3x as much as I would…read morenormally pay! It might be a once-a-year cut for me but I was very happy with the outcome. I opted for the "Deva Treatment" for curly hair that included a dry cut, wash and deep conditioning, then styling. The care that went into the cut and showing me how to style it moving forward was very much appreciated. I recommend the treatment as a first visit but future visits can only be the dry cut (making it only just more than double what I would normally pay ‍). Also, it took about 3 hours for the cut, wash, deep conditioning, & styling...another reason to only do the dry cut in the future. I'm not really sure I can justify the cost too much to return but I'm also not sure I can say that I've ever loved a haircut like I do this one. Four stars is mainly for price. Five stars for everything else.

I had not been here in years so I thought I'd check their availability. Ashley was so nice. She listened to what I needed. The shampoo chairs are heaven. Ashley also did my wash. She's been here for years. She's very professional and honest. Pricing is very reasonable here. They also offer online booking. This time I booked my next appointment and was pretty confident that I could commit to that date and time.

I used to take my son to local barbers & the results were unpredictable. Sometimes my son was happy but the times he teared up were bad. I do fork the extra for my son's hair because he hasn't teared up since I started taking him here. His hair is done nicely every time except the side burns are usually uneven. His hair doesn't get washed or styled (he usually heads home to the shower anyways). He is covered in chopped hair when he leaves. What matters most to me is my teenage boy feels confident with himself.
