Some of these mothers had never left their children with special needs before, and Lisa and her colleague were very understanding and respectful of our guests and of our budget. She even added in some aromatherapy and was creative in setting up the chairs and doing massages. She stayed until she was sure the last person had received the massage they wanted. All I heard were good things (and I experienced that, too!) It was a great, short chair massage and a much-needed breathing space for me in a very stimulating weekend of running the retreat. I walked into the building like Gimpy the Pegleg Pirate. My body was on fire from the stress. I was a pile of angry knotted meat. Missy isn't a run-of-the-mill massage therapist who is just there to relax you. She is a true healer who works on problems both chronic and temporary. I never leave feeling beat up and she does not cause pain in the process of her massages. I will not see anyone else because of this. I walked out like a normal person with a natural gait. My headache was gone from her neck and cranial work. I felt less dizzy, in fact, the dizziness was almost gone. I felt both relaxed and invigorated. How does that work?
