She went up to the counter and asked about this kind of shoe, with a passing reference to Hokas, and rather than directing her to the Nike Vomeros, which were on the shelf literally a few feet away, the staff gave her a snide comment about how they only sell shoes that have style. That was one lost sale. I also had seen a sweater I really liked about 10 minutes prior but there was no way I was going to buy it from Shoe Palace after seeing my mother in law get dissed like that. Will take my money elsewhere and will not be returning to any Shoe Palace.
