It's very high quality and feels solid. My kids love it. Delivery was fast, and assembly was pretty easy. During the ordering process, I had a question and called the contact number. A man answered and thoroughly and kindly answered my questions. I even accidentally called his number again, and he saw my number pop up and called me back in case I had additional questions! After visiting several furniture stores (Ashley's, Jordan's, etc.) to look for furniture for both of our kids' rooms, my wife and I realized that almost everything was cheap fiber board or flimsy furniture. Too often, the stuff we found in a showroom was actually pretty cheap when we looked into the details (opened the drawers, picked up a corner to look underneath, lifted the mattress, examined the hardware fittings, etc). We are a military family, so our furniture needs to last through moves every 2-3 years. We also wanted something that our kids (3 and 6) would not outgrow within a few years. We googled "solid wood furniture," and after reading some reviews (for both Kids Furniture Solutions and some other sites) decided to give KFS a try, mainly because we liked the design of the furniture options. Since I had a question about one of the sales, I called the number listed on the website. The number went through to a voicemail box, asking me to leave a message. Although usually this is a bad sign, I left a message anyway asking for some more details, not really expecting a call back. However, within about 30 minutes, I received a call back from Andrew, who cheerfully answered all of my questions. He had in-depth knowledge of how the beds were put together, and was able to really make me feel good about buying the product. A few hours later, I placed my order. Unfortunately, I immediately realized that I had mistyped my phone number on the delivery form, so I texted Andrew, asking if he could help. He immediately texted back that he was able to fix the error, and he also noticed that I had not added dresser mirrors to my order. Since I had mentioned dressers with mirrors on the phone with him, this was a great catch on his part. He helped me adjust the order, then even reached out again to confirm that it was all set and ready to go. He has also promised to reach out next week when the order is processed for delivery, just to make sure everything goes smoothly. Wow! Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway!), this is customer service and attention to detail far above anything I could have expected. I fully expect the furniture to arrive and meet (if not exceed) my expectations. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience! Thanks, Andrew--keep it up!

Here is where to go when you're looking for a warm sweater, hat, scarf or gloves. They have items made from alpaca wool, and even cute little peruvian cardigans for little kids. I loved the earring selections, especially the tear drop hoops with the thread woven in it like a net because it's hard to find the small size of those. This is the perfect place to find that unique gift for someone.

Wow, was I wrong. The store is loaded with toys, games, puzzles, activities and fidgets. I saw so many things that I didn't know existed in the realm of toys. Quite a few items tempted me, not just for my personal kids, but also for those in my classroom. I looked a few items up online while I was there and saw that the prices were comparable to online retailers. I decided not to wait. Why not get them at Shaninigans and support local. Overall, Shananigans felt like an experience I didn't know I needed. Definitely will be back to stock up for the holidays.

I have enjoyed getting gifts for my daughter and all of the little kids in my life. However, I came in yesterday looking for a Balance bike for my daughter for her second birthday. I found one, they only had one left, and I bought it. Unfortunately, when I got it home although the box said that the seat was adjustable, it was only adjustable forward and backwards, not up and down.Which is a bit odd considering it says it's for 18 month to four-year-old children. My daughter was too tall for the bike. I brought it back today because there was no way she could use it. The girl who sold it to me yesterday said no problem and then she got another woman to come help me. I assume this is the store owner(a middle-age woman behind the counter). She was incredibly rude. She told me that she's gonna have to eat the cost as a small business and rolled her eyes, and then said that it's not actually returnable, but that she would give me a refund. Ok? You're mad at me? For doing business with you? Because something had what seems like false advertising on the box? It wasn't broken, but it did not adjust. I'm not sure how a four-year-old would be able to use that bike (The age was 18 months to four years old with an adjustable seat). Considering that seat doesn't adjust up and down makes it a bit odd to advertise such a large age gap. I left the store thinking that she was clearly mad at me and upset that I had returned the bike.That attitude at a children's store is just not the way to do business. As a business owner, sometimes that's just the cost of doing business. Sometimes you have to do the right thing regardless of whether or not that is in your financial best interest. I don't think I'll be back to shop here anymore. Which is too bad because I love supporting local businesses here in Baltimore.
