I had a few cakes from here (offered by a local diner) all of them were amazing and fresh. My favorite was the coconut crème cake, key lime cake was runner up and the Oreo was my least favorite but still good- just not as moist. They traveled well and lasted a few days in the fridge. Pam is so amazing with her cake making. The amazing thing to us is that they look like they would be very rich, but they are extremely enjoyable because they are not so rich. I feel like my review may be a little too harsh considering all the great reviews coming from this little shop. But could it also be good reviews from friends and family? Who knows, but I am a cupcake lover and honestly nothing too fancy here. The cupcakes were very plain Jane. They were cheap, like really cheap, 13$ and some chafe for a dozen. They are really mini. Like a mini is seriously a mini. There's more buttercream vs cake. These are bite size, smaller then the bite size you'll get at the grocery store. Just a ton of buttercream. They are not sugary which many people would love or hate. The butter cream was just plain, no flavor at all. At least on the mini cupcakes I've tried. The owner did not look happy at all, maybe it was a long day or maybe it was bc I had a million kids with me? Who knows. I may try this place again when I'm back in town. read more

My daughter and I stopped by Just Cupcakin' Around to pick up a dozen mini cupcakes and some fudge. Their motto is "Creating joy one bite at a time." The joy really starts when you walk through the door. In addition to large inventory of fudge, regular size cupcakes, mini size cupcakes they also sell cakes, cake pops, cheesecake and a variety of cookies. The person working in the bakery on the day that we visited was very professional had a good sense of humor. She patiently waited while we looked over everything and made our decision. I gave my purchases away with the exception of the chocolate and walnut fudge. It was rich, creamy and smooth with a light touch of nuts. It was very tasty. I swore I wasn't coming back this week, yet here I am for the 3rd time. Pam had me taste a few of her fudges and OMG! Yum! I tried the eggnog, butterscotch, and peanut butter. I came here to pickup some custom made cupcakes and met the owner during my visit. Very nice lady. But I tell you what!!!!! These cupcakes are bangin!!! we had ordered different flavors, and every last one was moist, had great flavor, and the icing wasn't too sweet. the icing was nice and soft, and in the center of the cupcake she had different filing. The best experience ever! Pam made my wedding cakes and cupcakes for June 1 wedding on Cocoa Beach. She was able to work with me, as she was going on vacation. She prepared my order and froze it for a few days. I picked the order up the morning of the wedding, allowed them to thaw and they were perfectly fresh. The guests were amazed at the flavors. I got an assortment of flavors....mandarin orange, strawberry cheesecake, red velvet, lemon blueberry, etc. I had some left over and I was going to give them to the facility workers, but my guests were not having it!! We are staying in Cocoa Beach for our 25th anniversary and decided we needed cupcakes to celebrate. Just Cupcakin' Around did not disappoint! The red velvet and peanut butter cup variety are delicious. The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet was sweet and creamy and the peanut butter frosting had the perfect taste of peanut butter without being overpowering.
