The much anticipated pancake cake was gone. The indifferent attitude tells me you don't care if I come or go. Why have a unique product then run out before selling time? However, though sweet, the coconut cake was simply delicious. It redeemed my experience. Get there before noon. Ask no further questions of the staff. Friendliness I trust is reserved for locals. read more

Great service. Cinnamon roll was good. If like peanut butter cookies, this is not the place. They were covered in sugar. Not a fan of that but some may like it. I also do plain cheese cake so I thought an it had coconut shreds mixed. Not a fan of that either. Small cute shop with some unique gift ideas. read more

This is my favorite bakery in Brevard. The owner Elle is so sweet and that comes through in the treats she makes :) Yummy fresh coffee drinks! The donuts on Friday and Saturday are incredible. The pop tarts are to live for. What a cool inside vibe too, with lots of local art and creations available to purchase as well. Even a claw machine like game for the kids in there. Check it out, worth a trip even if you aren't a Cocoa Beach local. read more

Everything at this bakery is scrumptious. The coffee, lattes, cakes, cookies, etc. L, the owner - literally the nicest human I've ever met. Everyone who works there seems like they thoroughly enjoy their job, even when it's slammed packed! I loved almost everything I have bought here. They're amazing. Ask what's been recently baked. A heads up though-- they have a reward system that was "5 off your next order" if you sign up via text. The second time I went inquiring about the 5 dollar discount, she wasn't sure how to do it. It was after I'd already paid so that's completely on me. She said she'd just take 5 off my next purchase. I travel a lot but often times it's a long stay (30 days) I bring this up bc I think that not many people come back to ask. Definitely snag that discount for some great baked goods! read more

Everything looked good but was average. Bought 2 cupcakes-chocolate was moist and very good. Red velvet was very dry and tasted like vinegar. Cinnamon rolls also very dry. Better after heating up a bit. Would not go back. I don't mind paying premium price if product is good but this was not. read more

I used to really love coming to Junk Food Bakery. We always enjoyed the frosted sugar cookies, brownies, and cake slices. Unfortunately, the quality just isn't the same anymore. The sugar cookies have become very thick and bland, one of the brownies I bought was raw in the middle, and the cinnamon rolls and donuts weren't very good. The customer service has also gone downhill -- the staff don't seem as friendly as they used to be, and sometimes I feel rushed when I want to take my time deciding. Today when I asked what flavor a cake slice was, I got an annoyed response, which was disappointing. I've also ordered birthday cakes here before, and while they looked nice, the smallest size was about $85, and we ended up throwing a lot away. This bakery is very cute and used to be much better, but sadly the quality and service just aren't what they used to be. Have you changed management or hired new staff? read more

Stopped in hear at our stay in coco beach and so happy we did , one of the best cupcakes I've had in awhile and my husband got a Cafe which he said was delicious and creamy and one of the best he had in all of Florida ! We also got a couple other pastry's and they all had our hotel room smelling like a fresh bakery ! Reasonable prices and super fast service and the girls up front were so sweet as they were about to close ! So happy to have this place in town. It's in a touristy area but they're the real deal and everything they make is top notch. Having a spot to go where I can get a nice iced coffee and a legitimacy good sweet treat makes me really happy. Perfect little afternoon stop. I usually go for the cold brew and a snickerdoodle or oatmeal cream pie, those are my favorites. It's all good tho and totally worth a visit. read more

Wowowow...just proceed with caution because everything is crazy delicious. Tried the salted chocolate chip cookie (wow), banana pudding (wow) and my son also had a cake pop (reportedly wow also). Lovely option for a sweet treat and coffee, very much recommend a visit to see for yourself. read more

I special ordered a cake for a friends baby shower. As you can see in the pic, it is BEAUTIFUL! But that's not even the best part. The beet part was the taste!!!! They decorated it perfectly and beyond what I imagined ! This was their pancake cake. It is one of their BEST cakes! Even people who don't eat cake or like sweets as much LOVED IT! I've been here quite a few times now with my toddler, we mostly get a cookie or other item from the case. Everything has been good so far, with the exception of the biscuit, it was dry and not very flavorful, but their cookie decorating kits and order ahead pies (pumpkin and salted bourbon pecan) for Christmas were awesome. read more

I had an amazing experience at Junk food bakery! Elle, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and created custom cookies for my customers. It's the perfect spot to order your next special event cakes and sweets. And for anyone wanting to impress their clients with custom logo cookies. There were so many choices! The Pop Tart was what drew us there (it was very good). We also found a Blueberry-Lemon Scone (so good you wanted to smack your mama!) and a Munchie Bar (with everything but the kitchen sink). But our best find was "This $h1+ Is B*A*N*A*N*A*S" banana pudding. This was not a lie! We had iced "Tree Huggers" (chia tea), "Strawberry Milk" (strawberry Nesquick, espresso, milk) and "Frozen Basic B" (vanilla, espresso, milk, coconut cream, frozen). I made a reservation for 6 at 1:30 pm on Mother's Day. When we arrived, we waited 10 -15 minutes in the host line before we were greeted. This, coupled with the fact there were lots of empty tables that had not been bussed, let me know that the restaurant was not equipped to handle the volume of customers and was in the weeds. When we told the host we were a party of 6 with a reservation, he seemed surprised and distraught - immediately leaving to bus one of the tables. A quality restaurant would have expected us and had our table prepared prior to our arrival. Multiple people in our party mentioned the host's frantic demeanor. I don't blame him - it was clear the restaurant was overwhelmed, despite so many empty tables. Was the kitchen backed up? We were sat at the table and the server was very pleasant - a very nice woman. She brought out the water - tap water which smelled and tasted a little funny. I would have expected filtered or bottled water, especially when the tap water quality was poor. At this point, given the above, we decided to leave. If the experience up to this point was not up to par, we didn't want to take our chances. We've seen too many Kitchen Nightmares episodes to take the risk. Chaos in the front of house is normally correlated to chaos in the back. Hopefully the restaurant takes our constructive criticisms to heart and tries to make some improvements. The buck starts with the management.

Beach bar .. nice view, lousy drinks. Overall a costly and enormously disappointing weekend.
