If she doesn't think you need something, she'll let you know without hesitation. I ended up getting up-lights, a personalized floor gobo, pattered ceiling gobo, a pin light on the cake, and a 8 ft screen for my slide show. The total cost was about $1450. This was incredibly reasonable compared to what other lighting companies had quoted. Monique and her team seems to have worked at just about every popular venue, so they're very familiar with what a specific room may need. She's very flexible with pricing and will work hard to work with your budget and your lighting wishes. Wedding planning can be so stressful. I would not recommend Just De'lights. Although Monique is nice to work with, the services I hired her for were unacceptable. The person that was supposed to set up the lighting was late, cutting into the start time of my reception. The monogram that was to be lit up on the floor only displayed one half of the wording, while the rest of it was barely visible. And, it was not centered on the dancefloor. In addition, one other service I paid for was not provided, which was a floral design on the ceiling. I was, however, fully refunded in the end, but it does not compensate for the irreplacable damage that was done. This service may be cheaper, but I guess the saying is true - you get what you pay for. read more

I had the most professionally positive experience yesterday with Monique and her team. At the very last minute I needed a microphone for a business presentation. She stepped to the plate and and made arrangements to get us what we needed. With traffic in the area being what it was at commute hour, she continued to keep us apprised of her team's whereabouts. Just 24 hours before our event, I called Monique to request 5 up-lights. She was very responsive, knew exactly what I was seeking, and put us on her schedule for the next day! On the day-of, in the midst of a torrential downpour, Monique arrived on time, conferred with our team as to creative layout, and quickly set up the lights. I spoke to one of the owners, Monique, about how to make our daughters WinterOnederland look like a wonderland literally and everything sounded great as to what we discussed before the party. She did take the time to view the space and I did appreciate that. We discussed and I I thought the price included uplighting in the space, lights that looked like snow, and strings of light because I wanted the room to have a Christmas feel as well. Well, she did not bring the Christmas lights. She did have the uplights, but the "snow" lights looked like white dots. The "snow" also stopped working halfway through the party. I asked for some of the funds back and she told me that I was already discounted. I don't feel it was fair that I didn't receive what I asked for. I could have literally ordered my own uplights and snow effect and saved money. I will NOT use this company again. read more

Our wedding coordinator recommended Just De' lights based upon experiences working with her company, and the size of our wedding. Monique was a pleasure to work with. We just did uplights and a pinspot for the cake, but she added a gobo on the floor just to surprise us--so sweet. Just De'Lights did the lighting for our wedding at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio and did a very solid job. Monique was very sweet and oversaw the event from start to finish. We had uplights, a spotlight on the cake (I think?), and several gobos, which made the room feel nice and warm. The prices were an absolute bargain compared to a few other lighting places that we looked at - almost 1/3 of the price of some other places.
